Recap: Steve proposes to his girlfriend Anna and gives up drinking for her. Then he goes home to find her gone with the computer melted. His bandmates have just arrived to check on him. Please note that this story takes place over a few weeks, so will be much more detailed than my other two stories.

Steve felt their eyes boring threw his head as he stared at the place where his melted computer had just been.
"It was there."
"Steve..."
"I swear it was there. 5 minutes ago. It was right there." He pointed at the empty space.
"Steve." Deryck took Steve by the arms and led him towards the door, "I'm sure Anna will be back soon. You can stay at my place until we hear from her."
"No!" Steve tore himself from Deryck and ran down the street.
"Anna!" he yelled, "Anna!"
"If it isn't little Steve Jocz..." said a little old woman.
"Yeah, hi, Mrs. Von Frances."
"It's Mrs Creedley, dear. My, how'd you come up with Mrs. Von Frances?"
"Um... I can't find my fiancée, Anna. Her last name's Von Frances. It's really heavy on my mind right now."
"Oh, that's how it always goes. My first husband-to-be walked out on me a little while before my wed--"
"She hasn't bailed out on me! She's just vanished!"
"I'm sure she has, dear." she patted his arm, "Now if you'll just come with me, I'll take you somewhere where people can help you.
"I'm not insane! I came home and everything was there but her!!!"
"Of course they were. Go home and lie down, dear. Anna will be back when you wake--"
"No, I've gotta find her! She's gotta be around here somewhere."
"Oh my word, what is that? What ghastly looking lights on that vehicle."
Steve flipped around. Nothing was there. He flipped back to look at Mrs. Creedley, but she was gone.
"Oh great, she ran away. She's probably calling Animal Control or something, crazy old bat."
"Steve!" Cone and Deryck were walking cautiously towards him, "Maybe you should come on home, buddy."
"But, Anna!"
"Call the police. I think what you need is some sleep right now, though."
"Fine. But when I wake up I'm going out to look for her again."

Ohh fuck, the 2 updates will be up tonight but I accidently deleted them so I need to rewrite them and THEN I'll put them up. I haven't read your update, yet, Nicole, I swore to myself I wouldn't until I filled my half of the deal.

Steve awoke the next morning, cutting off the sound of Anna screaming in his nightmare. All night he had dreamed horribly of losing Anna in all these terrible ways.
Anna. Steve ran down the stairs and quickly poured himself a cold cup of the coffee that Dave had made for himself, Cone, Deryck, and Rob. He threw in 4 packs of sugar with the paper still on.
"Fuck, what is wrong with me?" he muttered, fishing into the cup and throwing in just the sugar this time. Then he fished to the back of the fridge and poured in chunky soy milk, "Shit, of course. She wouldn't have bought the groceries."
From the living room, Steve heard his 4 friends talking quietly and he tiptoed to the closed door, his mind still racing.
"Melted computers? Destroyed phones? I think a horror movie has really fucked with Steve's mind this time."
"He was screaming in his sleep last night, wonder what he was dreaming about."
"Anna. Didn't you hear him say her name? Poor Steve, I wonder why she left him."
"We don't know that she left him, Cone."
"Hellooo? Where do you think she went, Mars?"
Scattered chuckling spread between them. Steve couldn't believe it. His fiancée was missing and his best friends were laughing about how she probably left him.
He crashed through the door, "I heard everything. It's all bullshit. And you know it. I need a ride to at least the police station so I can help them find Anna."
"Steve, why don't you just stay at home today? I'm sure she's fine."
"Someone take me to the police station. Apparently I'm insane so apparently you all should be worried about me committing mass murder."
"Steve, we don't think you're insane."
"Yeah right, Deryck." Steve jabbed his spoon in Deryck's direction and they all lept back in terror.
"See? You think I'm nuts!" Steve said, his voice a mix of sadness and complete anger.
"Steve..."
"Will someone just please take me to the police station. I think something's happened to my fiancée. You guys don't. Will you at least let me make sure nothing has?" Steve ignored the fact that he knew something had happened to Anna.
Cone stood up after a long pause, "Ok, let's go."
They went to the door and Cone swung it open. A young woman was standing there, her eyes filled with tears, "Are one of you guys Steve?"
"Yeah." Steve half raised his hand.
"Yes, I think you know my mother. Have you seen her? She went out for groceries yesterday and no one's seen her since."
The woman held out a black and white photo. Steve gasped as he looked into the old, wise, joy-filled eyes of Mrs. Creedley.
