Hi.

I'm sure many of you remember me from awhile back. I know I said if I ever left this forum I would not return. And I know I left on some pretty tough terms with a few people. But the truth is, I've missed this place. And I've missed the camaraderie I was able to develop with people here. So I'm starting anew.

This thread will serve as sort of a showcase of my poetry, and will basically be the home of my future works as I don't feel like updating my website anymore.

Here are a few of my recent poems. Criticize them how you want. Good, bad, I don't care. Just be gentle.

Lovely Waterfall Scene

I love the way she moves
Dancing around the waterfall of dreams
Puffy cumulus clouds
Paint the skyline, sketching ever faint shadows
Arms swaying gracefully
Her long, brown locks of silk float in the breeze
Beneath this mountain spring
Small, wet beads form a pattern on her smooth skin

But is this more than a blissful dream?
Imagination, it sets the scene

I love the way she sounds
Humming softly a sweet, angelic tune
Splashing drops resounding
Through her ears, she smiles wide as the hills

This could be all she's ever wanted
This could be everything she ever hoped to have
There cannot be much more than this
Than this beautifully epic scenery she sees

I love the way she moves
Gliding around the waterfall again
Tracing her hand along
The crystal surface, rippling tiny waves
Reflect brilliant sunlight
Her eyes wide in an infatuated daze
Looking out for miles
Across this vast fairyland of perfection

Searching for a four-leaf clover
All that you can see is fallen leaves
And dirty weeds
Shine your gazing eyes on me
I'll lead you to the nursery
Full of brilliant green shrubbery

Take this single rose of mine
Treat it like a child in your womb
With care and love
We could combine our gardens
I'll arrange it so perfectly
And add seeds of endless dreams

Full of color and beauty
Charming us with great exuberance
We smile brightly
Let the sun beam explore freely
I'll water your plants happily
With a splash of sparkling hope

There will be no empty patch
Everything we have will grow so tall
And radiate
Let us sit back and look around
It could not be any better
Than us here in this heavenly garden

Hope
It's a warm embrace that keeps us going on
It's a pill we take that keeps us feeling strong
So why
Are we in this alone?
Because I dream to join your side

Time
A resounding voice that echoes between you and I
If only I could stop it I would surely try
Just know
I'd give you forever
If you'd just give me tonight

Love
It's a force that pulls me to where you are
Under the cherry moon and candy stars
Tonight
United we could sing
Here in perfect harmony

Wow. I honestly didn't expect so many people would miss me. I really don't know what to say but thanks for welcoming me back.

cheapthrills: Yes, I did miss you and those, um, interesting conversations we had. And yes, I'm still working at the same restaurant. But I've been doing a good bit of thinking lately and I'm considering pursuing something better. I just need to get a few minor things straightened out in my life and I'll be ready to make it all happen.

To all: Thanks for the comments. I'm working on a few new poems at the moment. My inspiration level seems to be at a rare high point right now. So expect something new in a few days.
