Even though her devastating breakup had left her broken and unable to function socially, her friends stood by her reasuring her that everything would pass and that she’d find someone worthy of her heart. Someone who actually wanted her for her. Being a teen is never easy and it definitely wasn’t for her either. She had never experienced love, or a guy who liked her for who she really was. Because she didn’t know who she wanted to be. Hiding under so many layers of lies she had confused her lies with her real personality and finfidng herself unidentified in her mind.

Her eyes were blinding her from society. If only she’d take a look around her and realize she was loved. Loved by someone who wouldn’t hurt her. Or make her cry. But he was too shy to step up, and take a shot. Instead he would watch her. Month after month get used and dumped like some worthless property. And day after day he would pick up his phone and call her but hang up after the second ring. He couldn’t tell her. Not yet. She didn’t even notice him for what he really was.

She wouldn’t open her eyes and look around. She was blocking out her thoughts from her mind and living in an empty body waiting to be revived. Her eyes glistened in the sun as she studied the features of her new prey. He was by far the the most beautiful man she had laid eyes on, and she was destined to feel his lips against her skin. Just by looking she could imagine herself in her embrace and have him whisper those sweet words that would make any girl die on the spot. “I love you”.

She ran her hand through her hair and tilted her head slighty to view his feautures in another perspective. She smiled her signature smile and stepped towards him. Just enough for him to notice. She could feel it. His eyes burning through her flesh. She was so tempted to get eye contact, but she knew that wasn’t even possible in this point of time in the game. “Game”. Thats what she called it. That made it easier for her to deal with. She couldn’t take the fact that everyone around her was experiencing something she could only dream of. She felt empty and unloved.
For the first time in her life she felt used. She gave herself to a man who barely acknowlegded her for anything but her features. Her well trained figure and her irresistable facial looks. Thinking about it made her feel unclean.
Something unknown to every human soul was that every night she’d scrub her skin so hard to get the feeling of him off her skin. Some nights so intense she would bleed.

He stood up against the tree. Watching her do yet another attempt on love. It was obvious to him now. She didn’t even revolve feeling around her choices. It was pure looks.
He tuned his guitar and began to strum the chords he had written on paper and memorized deep into his mind.

She’s broken to me,

She’s blinded by reality

He sang while watching her sway her hips to impress the guy who was watching her with his fierce eyes.

She saw him. Sitting there. As every other day. His name unknown. His face unrecognizable. But yet friendly. And heartwarming. He was always there. As a support. Although they never spoke she knew he was there for her. Through song. And emotion.

He placed his guitar beside the tree and lifted his body off the ground. Today was the day. He bit his bottom lip and walked slowly towards her.

“Hey” He smiled coughing into his hand to get rid of the screech in his voice.

“Oh hey I was just about to comment on your song” She placed her hand over her lips to hide the dorky smile she was desperately trying to get rid of.

He looked into her eyes and slowly removed her hand from her lips.
“I care” he admitted and gave her knockles a gentle kiss before returning back to the tree to retreive his guitar. He placed it on his back and smiled at her once more before walking off into the daylight.
