Haunted Love (Movie Script)

Some of you might remember that I use to always post in the artwork thread posting my songs. Well I still write songs but I also starting to write movies. I dont know if I will ever make it in life but I dream to. Anyways This is a movie script that I wrote not to long ago. Its called Haunted Love. I know its a lot of reading.....anyways if ya read this, plz tell me whatcha think.

The opening is at night. A full moon is out but stormy wicked clouds are passing over it. There is a two story house with trees outside around it in the yard. Inside the house in a room thats quiet and empty. Suddenly the bed room door opens up and there is a guy name Nick and a girl name Kate kissing each other. Suddenly there is a strange noise coming from down stairs. The young couple looks at each other.

Kate: Did you hear that?

Nick: Yeah

Suddenly a noise that sounds like something that fell and broke is heard from the room. Nick gets up from the bed.

Kate: Be careful.

Nick: Dont worry.

Nick opens the door to the night stand to get a gun. He starts walking slowly out of the room. Outside of the room he is looking around, walking very slowly. He walks down the stairs slowly with the gun by his side. When he gets downstairs he slowly enters the living room. Suddenly the front door opens up. Nick fire his Gun once and runs to the door. He looks out but he dont see anything. He close the door and looks at Kate on the stairs.

Kate: Did they get away?

Nick: I didnt see nobody.

Nick starts to walk up the stairs. He puts his hand on Kate face gently and he smiles. He leans over to kiss her lips but from the corner of Kate eyes, she see the kitchen light come on. She turns her head facing the kitchen.

Nick: Whats wrong?

Kate: The kitchen light just came on.

Nick looks and starts walking down the stairs. He looks at Kate. He says "Stay Here". He walks into the kitchen with his gun pointed and ready to fire. He looks around, but he doesnt see anything. Suddenly the kitchen light turns off, then back on, then off and back on. He looks confused. He see that Kate is by the kithcen door where the light switch is.

Nick: What the fuck is wrong with you?

Kate: What are you doing about?

Nick starts walking out of the kitchen mad

Nick: You know good and damn well what I am talking about. Dont be playing dumb with me.

Kate: If you think I done that to the lights, I didnt.

Nick: Oh yeah...if you didnt then who did??

Kate: I dont know but it wasn't me! Maybe it was a ghost or something.

Nick: Oh sure now we have ghost in the house....Thats Bull Shit Kate and you know it.

Kate: Why would I lie to you about this Huh Nick??

Nick: I dont know Kate...Umm...Lets see. Your trying to scare me. Well Guess what it isnt working.

Kate: Uh whatever!

Nick: Yeah whatever is right. I am done talking about this. I am going to bed.

Nick starts to walk upstairs. Kate is downstairs looking upset and a tear falls down her face. The door slames. Kate walks up the stairs. She puts her hand on the bed room door about to open it, but suddenly a soft voice called her name. Kate looks but done see nothing. She enters the room closing the door shut. She lays in the bed beside Nick.

Kate: Good Night.

Nick isn't responding. He has his eyes close. Now its morning and Nick is opening his eyes awaking from his sleep. He turns his head to see if Kate is beside him, but she isnt. He goes down stairs with shoes, blue jeans and a black shirt on. He see Kate sitting on the couch with her head down facing the floor. He walks up to her and sits down beside her.

Nick: Hey....Sorry for yelling at you last night.. ... ..

Kate: Its alright. But I honestly didnt do that to the lights last night.

Nick: I am not worried about that no more. Its over and done with. If you did I dont care. Anyways I am going to town. You want anything?

Kate: No, but you be careful.

Nick: I will....Love you.

Kate: Love you too.

The two kiss and Nick walks out the door. Kate still sitting down on the couch. She hears a strange noise coming upstairs. She gets up walking slowly. She looks up but dont see anything.

Kate: Hello?

Kate starts walking up the stairs, but suddenly the TV turns on. She enters the living room and stares at the TV. She looks around, but there isnt anything in the room. Suddenly the TV goes off by it self. Kate looks confused and scared. The light bulb from above bust. Kate Yells and put her hands over her head. The pieces of glass falls to the floor. Suddenly she hears that same soft voice from last night calling her name. She looks around and suddenly she see a bloody ghost guy. She screams and looks horrified. She looks at the front door and she runs to it. She tries to open the door but it wont come open. She looks back and the bloody ghost is walking her way. She tries to open the door, but still it wont come open. She looks back and she dont see nothing. She looks at the door and she screams from seeing the Bloody Ghost outside from the front door window. She backs up. She steps on glass from the busted bulb and cuts her foot. She rushes over to the phone and she starts dialing.

Nick is driving down the road, with some cars passing him. His cell
phone starts ringing. He answers it.

Nick: Hello?

Kate: Nick!! Oh my God you gotta help! There is something in the house!

Nick: What are you talking about?

Kate: I dont know how to explain it, just please hurry home.

Nick: I am on my way.

Nick hangs up the phone. He starts to speed up. Inside the house Kate is crying, shaking, and scared. She hears the door open and its Nick coming in. She runs to him giving him a big hug.

Kate: Thank God your here!

Nick: Your alright....Your okay.....

The two looks at each other and
Nick looks confused.

Nick: So whats going on?

Kate: Your going to think that I am crazy, but I dont think there was somebody in the house last night.

Nick: What are you talking about? I seen the front door open. They ran out of the door.

Kate: No, you seen the door open but you never did see anybody. Thin about it Nick. You was right behind them. You would of seen something.

Nick: Maybe they hide in the bushes or something.

Kate: Maybe, but I dont think so.

Nick: Whats this got to do with whats going on now?

Kate: Because last night I heard a soft voice calling my name. I didnt really pay attention to it though. Well, when you left I heard something upstairs so I went to check it out.

Nick: And?...

Kate: And there was nothing that I seen. The TV came on then it turned off. All by its self Nick. Then I seen a ghost.

Nick: A ghost.

Kate: Yes, a bloody guy ghost. He was the one who called my name. I ran to the door I tried to open it, but the damn thing wouldnt budge.

Nick: Really?

Kate: Yes....I was scared to death.....You do believe me right?

Nick: (Pause)

Kate: Nick? You do believe me?? Right???

Nick: I dont know. I dont really believe in ghost.

Kate: Well just because you dont believe doesnt mean that they dont exist right?

Nick: Thats true.

Kate: Look, I know this sounds crazy, but I am not making this shit up. I swear to you that I am not.

Nick: I dont know......

Kate: What do u mean you dont know?

Nick: I mean I dont know okay!! I mean damn....All I can think of is you on some kind of medacation.

Kate looks shock:

Kate: So you think I am on fucking drug! We have been together for three years! Three years Nick. Have you ever seen me take any kind of drugs?

Nick: No, but

Kate: Because I dont take them! I dont evem fucking drink! Okay I am not imaging these things. The damn ligh bulb busted.

Kate looks up and at the light bulb. She is shocked to see it in one piece. She looks confused.
She looks at Nick. He is looking confused and worried.

Kate: What I seen was real Nick. I know it was. I know that damn bulb busted. I even cut my foot for stepping on the glass.

Kate looks at the bottom of her foot and she is shocked
to see that the cut isnt there anymore.

Nick: Well....Looks like everything is okay.

Kate: No, I swear to God that this happened. You no what, you wont believe me anyways so fuck it.

Kate starts walking to the front door. She opens it
and head outside.

Nick: Where the hell are you going.

Kate: Away from you. Away from this house. I just need to drive and clear my head.

Nick: You know what, that sounds like a good idea.

Kate slams the door of her car and looks at
Nick with a Mad look.

Kate: Yeah you would think, but I am not crazy Nick. I know what happened.

Kate starts up the car and she leaves. Nick goes inside slaming the door. He sits down on the couch and puts
his hands on top of his head not knowing what to think.

Kate is driving down the two way street. There is nothing but trees and its getting kinda dark. She is still scared and confused. She keeps telling herself "I know it was real. I am not crazy. I know what I saw. I didnt imagin it. I am not crazy." She starts to cry. and she quickly tells herself "No! I can not cry. I wont cry. I just gotta stop thinking about what happened. Yeah....Maybe some soft music will help me ease my mind." She turns on the radio looking at the road, but taking her eyes off to change the station. She looks back to the road and There is a person in the middle of the road that Kate is about to hit. She gasp and slams on breaks. The car comes to a complet stop. She looks terrfied. She looks into her rear view mirror but she dont see nothing. She gets out of the car and she starts looking for a body she ran over. She dont see anything. She thinks she was seeing things.

Kate: Oh My God. I got to get a hold of myself before I go completly insane. She gets back into her car. She close the door and she is about to start it back up, but she is shocked and gasp again when she see that her wind shied is crack where it looks like she hit somebody. There is also a lot of blood on the wind shield. She covers her mouth looking horrified. She keeps saying "Oh My God, Oh My God!" she hears that soft voice again calling her name and she looks at the passenger side seat and there is the bloody ghost guy looking back at her. She screams. She quickly opens her car door. She gets out and all of a sudden bright lights from another car shines down on her. Sound of breaks slaming. She almost gets hit by the car but the car comes to a stop just in time. She gasp.

Driver of other car: What the hell is the matter with you?

Kate looks confused. She looks back in her car and nothing
is there. Everything is normal.

Kate: Sorry....

Kate gets back in her car and she leaves. Back at the house Nick is in the living room walking to the stairs and he hears a noise from upstairs. He looks. He is kinda confuse. He starts laughing.

Nick: Oh My God now I am going crazy with all this Ghost talk, I am
hearing things now.

Nick hears a car coming in the drive way. He looks out the window and he see Kate shaking and scared looking. She opens
the door. She goes up to Nick and hugs him as she starts to cry.

Nick: Hey....What happened?

Kate: You wont believe me even if I told you.

Nick: Look, I am sorry for not believing you. Its just I dont really believe in this stuff.

Kate: Nick, Have I ever lied to you?

Nick: No, you hadnt.

Kate: Alright then, what makes you think that I am lying about this. I wouldnt.

Nick: You know what you need?

Kate: What?

Nick: You need a good warm bath to rest your mind.

Kate: Yeah....with lots and lots of bubbles.... You know what. I think I might just do that.

Kate goes up stairs. Nick looks at her in a worry look. Now its night time and Nick and Kate are sleeping. Kate dreams about everything that happened. The last thing she sees in her dream in the bloody ghost guy in her passenger car seat. She awakes with a gasp. Nick wakes up.

Nick: Whats wrong?

Kate: Oh My God.....I know who he is.....

Nick: Who?

Kate: That guy. That bloody ghost guy. Oh My god.

Nick: Who is he?

Kate: (Pause)....He is my ex boyfriend Josh.

Nick: (Confused) Josh.....your dead ex boyfriend Josh.

Kate: Yeah him. And it all makes since.

Nick: Really? Because it dont to me.

Kate: Look Nick, when he was alive and we was still a couple we was happy just like you and me are.
We was also engage, just like we are. It all makes since.

Nick: Yeah well um, why is he haunting you?

Kate: Because he dont want me to move on. Dont you see Nick, he wants me to be alone.

Nick: You know what this shit is crazy. I cant do this anymore.

Nick gets out of bed and starts walking out
of the room.

Kate: Where are you going?

Nick: I cant do this anymore Kate. I cant talk Ghost. This is fucking driving me insane. Alright I have had enough with this ghost shit.

Nick opens the bed room door and starts walking out. Kate gets out
of bed and follows behind.

Kate: This is what he wants. He wants us to be apart.

Nick: Looks like he is doing a good damn job.

Kate: No! Nick please stay.

Nick: I cant....I just cant. This is just to much for me. I am sorry Kate, I love you yes, but this has to end. I cant be with you if its going to be this way. I am sorry.

Nick walks out the front door. He gets in his car. He looks at Kate who is outside running to him crying. Nick cranks up the car and leaves. Kate screams NO! and tears starts falling down her face. Suddenly thunder starts to roll and it pours down rain

Kate: DAMN YOU JOSH!! DAMN YOU TO HELL!!!!!

The lightning strikes and it starts to rain harder. Kate heads back into the house. Nick is driving in the rain. He gets his cell phone out
of his pocket and calls his best friend Drue. Awaking from the phone call, Drue reaches for his phone on the night stand beside his bed.
He answers it.

Drue: Hello?

Nick: Hey Drue, its me Nick. Sorry that I woke you up but I am staying at your place tonight.

Drue looks at the clock and the time
is 3:36am.

Drue: You mean this morning?

Nick hangs up the phone. Driving in the storm. Drue opens his front door and hear comes
Nick running inside from the storm.

Nick: Nasty weather outside. But thanks for letting me stay here.

Drue: So I have to ask whats going on? Are you and Kate okay?

Nick: Not really. She is going crazy. I cant take much more of her tonight.

Drue: What do you mean she is going crazy?

Nick: I dont know. She swears up and down that there is a ghost that is haunting her.

Drue: Hmm....Thats interesting.

Nick: Yeah, its crazy shit I tell ya. The stuff she says it will freak you out.

Drue: So whats the problem?

Nick: The problem is I dont believe her.

Drue: Oh really.

Nick: I mean, I think she is telling me the truth,

Drue: Man your confusing me. You just said that you dont believe her.

Nick: No, I mean I think she thinks its really real. Like she is hallucination or something.

Drue: Oh I see. Well I dont know man. Maybe she is telling the truth. Ghost are real ya know.

Nick: No, I dont really no and I dont want to talk about this with you. So where am I sleeping at tonight?

Drue: The 1st room down the hall.

Nick: Thanks......Ahhh.....The sheets are clean right?

Drue: U have nothing to worry about.

Nick: Cool.

Nick walks down the hall. The lightning strikes and the thunder rolls. Kate inside her home scared. Suddenly she hears her name being called again. She is still scared. Looking around. She goes up stairs. When she reach the top of the stairs she screams when the bloody ghost guy (Josh her ex boyfriend) pops up in front of here. She leans back losing her balance and falls back down the stairs. She hits her head on the floor. Flashes of the lightning coming in from the window. The Thunder rolling. Kate just lays there on the floor dizzy. Suddenly the power goes out and its dark, but flashes from the lightning shines in.

In Bed Nick cell phone rings. He looks and see that its Kate calling.
He answers the phone.

Nick: Hello?

Kate: Nick, he is still attacking me. He isnt leaving me alone. You have to help me please!

Nick: I dont want to talk about it.

Kate: Nick! Nick!!!

Nick: Good Night.

Nick is about to hang up his cell phone but all of a sudden he hears Kate scream. He puts the phone back to his ear, and he hears a strange voice saying "KATE". Nick is confused and looks worried.

Nick: Oh My God.

Nick quickly jumps out of bed, and
out of the room.

Kate is on the floor against the wall with her knees in her hands. She is horrified and crying. Suddenly a bloody hand puts his fingers through Kate's hair. She screams! She gets up and runs to the kitcen. She grabs a knife. She looks around with the knife shacking in her hands.

In the car Nick is driving in the storm, the rain is coming down so hard it can bearly see out even with his wind shield wippers on. Suddenly a Big Tree branch lands in the middle of the road in front of Nick's path. He slams on breaks, the car starts to slide, but comes to a safe stop.

Back in the house Kate is still in the kitchen looking around with the knife in her hands. She hears a noise. She freezes. From the lightning flashes she see a shadow on her wall. She tries not to scream. Shacking even more. Holding the knife even more tightly. The hand of the shadow on the wall reaches out to her. She screams and turns around quickly and stabs Nick in the chest. She is shocked and now upset. Tears starts to fall down from her eyes. Nick stands there trying to catch a breath. He is moving a little like he is about to fall down.

Kate: Nick...I am so sorry. I didnt know it was you.

Nick falls to the floor. Kate knees down for him raising his head up from the floor calling his name. Nick eyes are bearly open, he is breathing heavy like he is dying. Kate reaches the phone and dials 911.

The double doors at the hospital opens up and Nick is in the hospital bed. Kate is following. The Dr. asked Kate to stay here. She watches while they take Nick to a room. Inside the waiting room. Kate is walking back and fourth. The Dr. comes out and Kate comes up to him.

Kate: How is he?

Dr: He is fine dont worry.

Kate: Oh Thank God!....Can I go see him.

Dr: Yeah, but the police wants to talk to you first.

Kate: What? What for?

Dr: Ask them.

An officer walks to Kate who
is confused.

Officer: Your Kate correct?

Kate: Yes sir.

Officer: Ma'm, I am placing you under arrest.

Kate: WHAT!! For What?

Officer: For trying to kill your fiance.

Kate: No that is no what happened.

Officer: Oh yeah, well thats what he said.

Kate: Who?

Officer: Nick. Your fiance correct?

Kate: No....No...I didnt mean to stab him. It was an accident. I thought he was somthing else.

Officer: Well whatever the case maybe, I have to arrest you. Ma'm please turn around and put your hands behind your back.

Kate: No....

Kate tries to run off, but the offcer
grabs her arm.

Kate: LET GO OF ME!

Kate swings her other arm and punches the officer. She runs to Nicks room. Nick is surpise. The police enters the room
and grabs Kate who is still trying to get away.

Kate: Nick, you tell them whats going in. You know I wouldnt try to kill you. I love you!! TELL THEM!!

Nick: Get her out of here.

The officers are fighting with Kate for
her arms to be behind her back.

Kate: Nick.....Nick....Tell them.....Please!!

Nick: You stabed me.

Kate begins to cry and the police finally has her hands behind her back. The officer gets
out his handcuffs.

Nick: Dont arrest her in front of me please.

The officers look at Nick, and holds onto Kate strongly. Another officer opens the door and there out in the hall. One hand of Kate gets free. She punches the cop that has her hand. Another cop grabs her and she kicks him between the legs. The cop she punch almost grabs her again, but she turns down a hall way where the eleveters are. Running down the hall way with police after her she yells out to the lady that is in one Eleveter to "HOLD THE ELEVETER" the police catching up to Kate. The eleveter door starts to close. Kate running with all her might. Police gaining on her. Elevater door almost close but Kate gets there in time and the doors open. She steps inside the elevater. The lady inside comes out. The police are almost to the open elevater. The doors begin to shut. The police are running faster trying to keep the doors to shut. Kate is scared and worried, out of breath, and shacking. The police are right at the elevater but the doors shuts. One officer bangs on the Eleveter. Kate takes a deep breath and tries to calm down and catch her breath.

Inside the hospital room Nick lays in his bed. Suddenly he starts to caugh. Its like he is chocking. He caughs up blood that shots from his mouth. His monitor tracking his heart beat which is racing. The monitor sounds off. Nick lays on his pillow. His vision getting cloudy. He looks and he see's a bloody ghost guy chocking him. He tries to breathe, but he cant. His heart racing. The ghost looks into Nicks eyes. Nick eyes begins to get heavy. Suddenly the room door opens and the doctor come in. Nick stops caughing and starts to breathe. His heart is calming down.

Nick: I have to go.

Nick tries to get out of the bed, but the
doctor want let him.

Dr: That is not a good idea. I have to check you out on what just happened.

Nick: I am fine.

Dr: Before you leave we have to make sure of that.

Nick: I am sure.

Nick gets out of the bed. The Dr. trying to stop him. Nick turns around and tells the Dr. to "SHUT THE HELL UP".
Nick is outside of the room walking away.

Back in the house Kate is scared of everything that is going on. She dont know what to do. She is sitting down on the couch. Suddenly she looks beside her and there that ghost is sitting next to her. She jumps up. Looks back and the ghost is gone. She wipes her eyes. She turns her head.

Kate: I had enough Josh. Its over alright. Your dead. I dont love you anymore. So just leave me alone.

Things are quiet. Kate is shacking. Looking around.

Kate: I am tired of being scared. I am tired of fightning with my fiance who I love with all my heart. I ran from the police. I got away just bearly. Enough is enough. Your driving me crazy and I had it.

She looks around and she see the ghost. She is scared, but she is looking at it. She is trying
to be strong. She takes a deep breath.

Kate: Your dead Josh. ... .... Go rest in peace.

Josh (The Ghost) starts walking her way. Kate just stands there in fear but she tries not to move. The ghost gets closer and closer. Kate just stands there. The Ghost reaches out his hands thats coverd with dry blood. The ghost puts his hand on Kate's face. Looking into each other eyes.

Kate: Go to Hell.

While staring into each other eyes. The ghost starts to make the evil eyes. He is mad. Kate knows and she starts to back away slowly. Her back now up against the wall. She stares at the Ghost. The Ghost lets out a loud Scare SCREAM!!!!! Kate is now horrified. She starts shacking even more. Suddenly the ghost vanishe. Kate looks. Starts to move then suddenly she smells something. She turns around and the room is on fire. She is shocked and runs to the front door. She opens the door and nothing but flames comes inside. She screams. She looks around the room. She starts to go upstairs.

Drue driving his car. Nick is in the passenger seat. Up the road the lights turn yellow to red. Drue starts to slow down then all of a sudden the car starts to speed up. Raching away coming up to a red light that with traffic moving.

Nick: What the hell are you doing? The God Damn light is red.

Drue: Its not me man. I dont know whats going on....The break isnt working.

The car speeds faster and faster coming closer to the red light with traffic going. Drue keeps mashing the break, but its not working. Suddenly the car enters the busy road with incoming traffic. A 18 wheeler is coming hunking its horn. Nick and Drue are both scared. The truck getting closer to the small car. The car is safe, it made it to the other side through the traffic with the 18 wheeler just passing by after the small car gets out of the way.

The car is back to normal. Drue slame on the break and stops the car. He opens the car door
and he gets out of the car. Nick looks at him from the passenger seat.

Nick: Arn't you going to drive?

Drue: Hell no. I am not getting back in the car. You can have it.

Drue starts to walk away. Nick looks back, and unbuckle his seat belt. He gets into
the driver seat and starts to drive off.

Back in the house that is on fire. Kate is in her room on her bed watching the smoke coming in from under the bed. She panics. She grabs her pillow and puts it over her mouth. She is scared and dont know what to do. The smoke in the room gets really heavy. Kate starts to cough. More smoke enters the room. Kate gets off from her bed and enters the room rest room. She slames the door closed. She looks around wondering what she can do. She looks at the sink. She turns on the water from the sink and catches the water with hands. She throws the water on the floor. Reapting it. Its getting smoky in the room. She slids the shower curtain back and she turns on the bath water.

Outside Nick is pulling into the drive way and he see's
the house on fire.

Nick: Kate.

Back in the restroom, the tub is fulled up with water. The water is still on and the tb in over flowing.
Kate gets into the tub full with water. Lays their scared.

Outside Nick is looking inside the house from the front door. He yells out "KATE!". He looks around waiting for a respond but doesnt get one. He yells her name again. He jumps through the fire at the door falling onto the floor with fire all around him. He yells KATE name again. He looks around. Part of the roof starts to fall. He goes up the stairs. In the bathtub Kate lays there in the water scared. She starts to caugh from the smoke. She then hears Nick calling her name.

Kate: Nick?....NICK!!!

Kate jumps out of the tub, she falls on the floor because the floor is wet. Looking inside the room through the flames at the door and around Nick yells out KATE one more time. Kate moans in pain, calls Nick name out and she gets up. She opens the bathroom door and heavy smoke comes in. She starts coughing. Wving her hands in front of her face trying to get the smoke away. She enters the bed room and see Nick outside the room through the flames.

Nick: Kate I am sorry for not believing you. I am so so sorry.

Kate: Its alright, as long as you believe me now.

Nick: Yes! Hell yes I believe you now.

Kate: How am I going to get out of here?

Nick: (Thinks) Your wet right?

Kate: Yeahm, im soaked.

Nick: Thats good. Thats really good. You can jump through the flames.

Kate: Uhh....I dont think I can do that Nick.

Nick: Yes you can. You have put up with a lot of shit. Jumping through a fire shouldnt be that hard.

Kate: Well its not easy.

Nick: Listen. When you jump I will be on this side to catch you & I swear to God I wil.

Kate: I know. I just.....I just dont think I can.

Nick: Yes you can. Believe Kate. Be strong.

Kate looks at the flames worried. She takes a deep breath.
Part of the wall starts to fall apart.

Kate: Oh God.

Nick: Come on. Jump Now!

Kate looking at the flames, watching some of the wall falling. She looks into the flames. She takes a breath. She runs and jumps through the flames. On the other side Nick catches her. Kate is crying and Kate and Nick starts to hug.

Nick: You alright.

Kate: Oh My God. I cant believe I just did that.

Nick: Lets get out of here.

The two quickly heads for the stairs. Fire all around them. Some part of the roof starts to fall apart. Going down the stairs. Kate is almost out the door to the outside, but she suddenly hears something. She looks back and she see's Nick leg stuck from the stair that gave out. She runs to Nick.

Nick: No!! Go outside, Listen to me please. Go outside.....I be right behind you.

Kate looks at Nick, she dont want to leave him, but she does what she is told and she jumps through the flames and lands outside on the ground. She gets up and looks back into the house through the flames. Nick is trying to get his leg unstuck from where the stairs gave out. The fire is getting closer. Smoke is all around him. Kate is worried and scared. Part of the stairs falls. Nick still tries to get his foot unstuck. He looks to the side and see Josh. The Bloody Ghost Guy.

Nick: I wot let you win.

Kate: Nick!

Nick: Hold On!

The flames starts to build in the room. Some walls starts to fall. More of the roof falls. Suddenly the whole stairs falls to the floor with Nick. Outside Kate Screams
and she quickly jumps back through the flames. Rushing to Nick side. There is no fire around the area, but the smoke is smothering.

Kate: Nick.....Nick.....Please please dont leave me.....please.

Nick is on the floor his eyes are very heavy. He is trying to keep them from shuting. His eyes close and he is still.
Kate is worried and she stars crying over Nick's body.

Nick is now standing up looking down at his body on the floor and watching Kate put her head on his chest. He looks up and see Josh, the bloody ghost guy looking back at him with a smile.

Nick: You wanna kill me?

Josh: Just staring at him

Nick: Why?..Huh??.....

Josh: Just staring at him

Nick: Is it because Kate moved on when you die? Is that it??

Josh: Just staring at him

Nick: You dont have to talk, but damn it you sure as hell going to listen. If you really love Kate like Kate thinks you did, then you would want her to be happy & I can make her happy. Just look at her.

Josh: Looks at Kate crying with the fire all around and the house falling apart.

Nick: Do you see what you are doing to her? She is suffering because I am dead.

Josh: Keep staring at Kate with a sad face.

Nick: Do you see how much she loves me. She already lost you, think about what this might do to her if she lose another guy she loves.

Josh: Staring at Kate then he looks at Nick) She loves you......You make her happy.......

Nick just stares at Josh and nods his head. All of a sudden fire trucks
and lights are heard. Kate raises her head.

Kate: HELP!! Please somebody Help us!

Water sprays in the house putting rest of the fire out. Suddenly Nick is begining to wake up. He moans in pain. Kate looks and smiles she tries to kiss him, but a fireman grabs her away.

Fire man: Give him so room to breathe.

Outside lights are everywhere from the fire trucks, the police and an ambulance. In a hospital bed, Nick starts to wake up. He looks and he asked the Dr. for Kate. The Dr. tells him "I will go get her for you". A door opens up and Kate is inside a room about being released. The Dr. tells her that Nick wants to see her. Kate Enters Nick room and she starts to cry.

Nick: Hey. Whats wrong?

Kate: We cant do this anymore.

Nick: What are you talking about?

Kate: Its over Nick.

Nick: Yeah, it is over.

Kate: I love you so much, but we cant live our lives being haunted.

Nick: No need to worry. Its over....Its all over and done with.

Kate: I guess this is goodbye then.

Nick: Woo...what are you talking about?

Kate: Its over Nick. We have to end our love.

Nick: No we done. He isnt going to haunt us again.

Kate: Oh yeah. What makes you so sure about that?

Nick: Because I talked to him.

Kate: What?....When?

Nick: Inside the burning house when I was out. I was looking over my body and I seen you there crying. I notice him watching and thats when I told him if he loves you like you think you do, then you should let her be happy. He relies that I make you happy. That You love me and now he will leave us alone.

Kate smiles and hugs Nick. They kiss.

Kate: Oh My God. I cant believe its really over. Our love isn't going to be haunted anymore.

Nick: Believe it. All I had to do was die and tell him like it was.

Kate: Dont you ever die on me again you hear me?

Nick: Okay. I will try.

They both smile and laugh. They kiss each other. Suddenly Josh the bloody ghost guy watches the two. He stares at them and then smiles. He fades away.
