" You are under arrest.... " Zach said arresting the two guys as I ran towards the car which was still up against the lightpost.

" John are you ok ?" I said looking through the open window beside the driver seat.
" Deryck ?" He said waking, he must have passed out from the pain or something.
" Can you move your legs ?" I asked running around the car and coming to his window.
" No.. I'm stuck " He said trying to move his legs. I looked over the car and tried to spot some fireman, I did very easily.

" Hey, can you help us, his legs are stuck " I said yelling and he heard me right away.
" Is he stuck ?" He asked before doing anything.
" Yeah !!" I said before he called at this team mates and they came running towards the car with every tool and things they needed to get him out.

" Let me look at your shoulder sir " One paramedic asked taking my right shoulder.
" Ouch.. the other shoulder please " I said yanking the shoulder away and walking after him towards the other ambulence.

" You dislocated your shoulder badly " He said looking at the shoulder as I saw Avril coming runnning towards me.
" I see you tried to locate it yourself, nice job. You need to protect your shoulder for the next days huh?" He said putting some bandages around my arm and shoulder, to keep my shoulder protected like he said.
" Deryck !!" Avril said hugging me after the paramedic has finished his job.
" Thanks you for saving me, you're my hero " She said smiling and hugging me again.
" No problem Av "

-- Few minutes later --

" OK he is out, paramedics !!" The fireman yelled as the paramedics came with the barrows to hold John towards the ambulence.

" Deryck ?" John asked as they started moving towards the ambulence.
" Yeah, I'm here " I said following him towards the truck.
" I can't feel my legs " He said before we reached the truck.
" I'm comi...." I said following the paramedics inside as I felt someone grab my hand thightly and stop me from talking and moving.
" What are you doing?" I asked looking at Avril like she had done something really bad.
" Are you coming with us " One paramedic asked.
" No he's not " Avril said answering before me, before I could say anything the ambulence drove away.
" Why did you do that for " I asked with a strange look on my face.
" Its for your own good Deryck, we'll go and meet him later today " She said nodding her head a little. She was right, it wasn't good for me to go with him, and see if something wrong would happen in the ambulence.

But if anything bad would happen, then I would loose another partner. I knew he would not die, but what if that part where he couldn't move his legs would do someting, then I would be out of partner, again. It was only 4 months since Tom died...
