Its 1:43 here, yes happy new year.. My dog is so scared right now of the fireworks, he isn't normally alowed to come inside but tonight he is allowed, he is sitting beside me here and that is somewhere he isn't alowed to be normally but since I'm alone home he gets to be here with me

I ran to work this morning, whenever I felt bad I ran, I couldn't help it, but by running it made me relax and think more about my feelings. Tom's death was really taking its toll on me emotinally and physicly. He was my best friend and now he was gone. The boss told me not to go to work today but I couldn't help it but go to work, if I wouldn't work I would wilt up and die inside, so I went to work if the boss wouldn't like it or not, I didn't care what he thought, if I didn't work I was nothing, I had nothing but the work, I remembered five years ago, when I had everything, a fiancee which I loved very much and was loved by her, a kid on the way, and in a school learning how to be what I wanted to be, that was not a cop in that time, but now it was nothing exept work.
As I walked inside everybody looked at me like I shouldn't be there, and they were right, I shouldn't. Somebody had a sad face when I looked at them and the others ignore me or didn't see me. I walked pass them to the boss's office to see his reactions when I came back to work.

I entered his secatary's office and his secatary wasn't there, strange she was always there sitting in her chair taking phone calls or writing something on the computer, which took a lot of time, she didn't write very fast on it, it was like seeing my old father pick on the computer and he didn't even knew what a computer is. I quickly hurried to the door which lead to his office, but as I got closer I saw the door was half closed and he was talking to someone, which sounded like his assistant.
I hided beside the doorway and listened to what they were talking about.

" I think it will do him good to go, I think if he stays here to much it will just brake him down " The boss said.
" Yeah I think so too, by him staying here when his partner is gone he will slowly die inside you know " The assistant said running through some pages which he helded.
" So you think he will take it ?" The boss asked as the assistant stopped what he was doing.
" I don't know, it all depends on him " He said pushing his classes higher up on his nose as the boss nodded.
" Yeah, I'll talk to him tomorrow when he comes to work, I gave him a day off " The boss said standing up.
" Yeah, but I think it will do him good to go, staying here will not do him any good " The assistant said as they started walking towards the door, I knew I had to run and hide. I quickly left the room before I saw them come inside, I was lucky, but was I really gonna get fired..
