He joked. We didn't laugh.
- Give me your gun Deryck!
I couldn't do anything but to do as he told me to. I reached for my gun and put it down slowly in his direction.
- Now go in the corner over there or I will shoot your little princess in the belly.
Again I did as he told me to. I quickly made my way towards the corner.

- Deryck, I thought we were too good friends, for you to go behind my back and stap me in the back like that.
I looked down.
- Look at me when I'm talking to you!!
He was getting angrier. I had to get Avril out of there.
- But Steve, you ain that innocent, you drugged me.
I knew I wasn't suppose to say that, but it slipped out.
- Did I drug you? Yes I did actually.
He winked at me again.
- Why did you drug him?
Avril asked that out of the blue. She was really brave saying that to him.
- Shut up missy!!
He pointed his gun towards her and she turned away, then he pointed the gun towards me.
- Why did you drug me Steve?
He lowered his gun and looked out of the window.
- Because, I hate guys like you, those who have all, a girl that they love, a kid on the way, and a blissful career. Going from unit to unit and always get higher set jobs.
He turned again towards me and pointed the gun at Avril. I started to panic.
- Steve, let her go, you don't want her, you want me.
He lowered his gun and looked at Avril for a moment, then he looked at me and winker at me in his sickful way.
- You're right, I don't want her.
I breathed easier, he lowered his gun in hers direction and it looked like he was going to let her go. But then he pointed the gun at me, and smiled an evil smile.
- But I want her to see you die!!
He trickered the gun and I saw Avril giving me a look, that meant only one thing. She was afraid this was the last moment she would see me. I gave her a look, telling her it would be all right, like I promised, and I was going to keep it.
- No Steve wait.
He lowered his gun again and looked at me with questionable look.
- If you walk out of here, without doing any harm to us, we can do some agreement when we get out. Making you get a minor sentence.
- You serious?
I nodded of confirment.
- But I don't want to go to jail, not even an hour.
He raised his gun again, but my eyes were pointed to Avril, her water just broke. She looked at me with panic in her eyes, but I nodded slowly to Steve didn't notice what just happened. Two weeks left until the date, and she had to go in labor right this moment. What are the chances.
Steve raised his gun again at me, directed right at my head.
- Don't!!
Avril yelled before she could even think about what she just did. Steve looked at her, and then pointed the gun towards her, and trickened the gun again. He was going to shoot, there was no doubt in that.
- Say goodbye Deryck.
He moved his finger towards the tricker and I started running towards him, but before I could even make one step, I heard a shot go off.....

I knew she was going to get in labor in there... I knew it!
I really hope the shot wasn't on her, I hope it was on Steve or it was Deryck who shotted Steve...
