I hurried back to Avril who had got to front door. I would be lying if I said she didn't make a smile when she saw me.
- Hey, what did you guys talk about?
I knew I couldn't tell her the truth, it would be too much for her to handle.
- She just wants to talk to me, thats all.
She nodded a little as we noticed John coming towards us smiling. I really didn't exspect him to come. Avril actually asked his fiancé to pick us up, since she knew me and John weren't really too good friends.
- Hey, Karen couldn't make it, Tina is sick. So she sent me instead.
Tina was their baby.
- OK. Well I have to go and meet our doctor, can you drive Avril home?
I asked without even thinking about the situations.
I could see the face on Avril at the corner of my eye, she was shocked that I wasn't going to take her home.
- Is that going to be ok Av?
I bent down to her height and said almost wispering.
She looked at John and back at me.
- I think so....
It was like she was telling me something with her eyes, something that I didn't understand.
- And I will come home as soon as I can, I promise.
I looked deeply in her eyes and kissed her on the mouth.
- You just take a relaxing hot bath because you have been through so much Av. Well see you guys later.
I smiled to Avril before I went inside again.
Somehow I regretted leaving Avril there, it was like I sences something bad would happen. But why would it be, John was a friend of mine, but he didn't like Avril much. Oh my god. What did I just do?
I looked back and almost ran outside again, with Liz still sleeping in my arms. She slept so tight, she was like her mother.
But when I got outside the car was gone. They were gone.

I went back inside and walked towards Steph's office. Now it was time to talk to her about Avril. But how would I be able to talk to her, about Avril, when my mind turned back to Avril in the car with John. What if something would happen?
