The bell woke me up from my thoughts and the elevator door opened in front of me. I walked out of it, still deep in my thoughts. The whole matter about John and what he did to Av was taking all my mind right now. I had no clue what I was going to do when I would meet him, would I fire him? Would I forgive him? Or would I actually hit him?

I entered the office and to my happyness he wasn‘t in yet. I seriously hadn‘t came up with what I was going to do. I walked inside my office and hang my jacket on the hanger and walked over to sit down in my chair. But before I could even sit down I saw John entering the main room. Before I could even think about the situation I rushed outside of the office and walked towards him.
He was standing beside Blake and talking to him so he didn‘t notice me at first. But after I had taken few steps towards him Blake spotted me and John did aswell. He smiled at me probably not knowing I knew about what he did to Avril.

- Hey Der...
Before he could even finish that sentence I punched him right on the wright side of his cheek. I knew that hurted the most. He held his hand over his jaw and looked at me like I had betrayed him. He was going to hit me back but Blake interfeared and stopped us. I was glad that he did.
- Deryck Whibley! Whats the matter of you, you don‘t hit your employees.
Before I, Blake or John could say anything my boss yelled at me. I guess he saw what I did.
- Yeah, what the hell did you do that for?
John was holding his hand tightly over his cheek. I looked around and saw the rest of my team, and other boardmembers and other workers in the burau looking at me.
- You would understand why I punched him when you heard what he did to my girlfriend!!
I turned to my boss and said almost yelling, at least I raised my voice.
Then I looked back at John.
- He attacked my girlfriend and hit her several times in the face and aswell in her stomach. And she had just got home from the hospital giving birth to my child.
I wouldn‘t be lying if I said the attention turned to John, even Blake who was standing beside him moved away from him.
- Why did you do it John?
- ´Cause like I told her, she‘s ruining your life.
I shook my head.
- She‘s not ruinging my life! In fact she‘s the best thing that has happened to me!
I was close to actually yelling at him, but I just raised my voice a bit. He didn‘t say anything.
- And I can‘t have someone on my team, who I thought was my friend that goes and does something like that. I can‘t.
- I don‘t want you any near me or Avril until the rest of my life. Just get out. You‘re fired!
I turned around and placed my hands on a talbe that was behind me. I sighted and waited for him to say something. But he didn‘t. I looked back and saw he had left.
I looked around me and most of the audience that were watching us earlier had left. But my boss and the other boardmembers where still there.
- Now I understand why you did it Deryck, but punching someone is not the right choice.
I looked down before I nodded.
- I know..... Why did you come down here?
I found it strange he came down along with all the other boardmembers, he didn‘t do that a lot. He was on the 20th floor, and I was on the 7th.
- Since you have caught Steve and Cone and all of those others, we want to have a boardmeeting, to discuss about your guys future.
