- You wanna take a walk on the beach?
I asked when I saw the beach in sight. Avril jumped and smiled big which meant yes.
- Yeah sure.
She pulled my hand, which was already holding hers and made me walk with her down to the beach.

- You know we have to walk barefoot, thats a tradition.
I said while grinning at her.
She reached down and took off her high heal red shoes so she was barefoot.
- Way ahead of ya.
She winked at me and started to run off in the sunset. It actually was a sunset when it happened, which made it much more romantic.
I quickly did the same and chased after her down the beach. I was in much better physical shape than she was so I got her eventually. I don't even remember how but soon we were laying on the ground, and I was on top of her. I looked in her eyes and stroke her hair. I bent down and whispered to her ear.
- I love you, you know that.
She made a little smile.
- I know.
She made even bigger smile now.
- And I love you too.
She said whispering to my ear.

Our eyes met and we stared at eachother for a while. Then I moved in and kissed her.

I don't know how long we lay there kissing, but soon it started raining and that stopped us. She quickly made her way up even though I was still laying on top of her.

- Omg its pouring out here, we have to get home.
She said looking at me like we should go home right now. But I just stood up slowly and looked at her in the rain, she was so beautiful.
- We don't have to go anywhere.
I grabbed her hand and pulled her against me and kissed her passionatly. She kissed me back for most time of the kiss, but then pulled away.
- C'mon, I don't wanna get wet.
I just shook my head as a sign of no.
- Just ignore the rain, and think about you and me.
I looked in her eyes and took away some of her hair that was in her face, as I pulled her closer in for a hug.


- Are you cold?
She nodded slowly. I took my jacket off and placed it on her. She then placed her arms around me and held me tight.

- Avril?
- Mmmhhmmm.
She said resting on my shoulder, we were still standing there in the rain hugging.
- Do you want to spend your life with me?
She rose her head up and looked at me strangly.
- I don't know...
She said pulling away from the hug but I grabbed her arm and held her tight.
- I want to spend my life with you, I love you too much to let you go, anytime in my life.
She looked at me like I had killed her pet or something.
- Tell me you don't feel like that.
Now she really looked at me strangly. She had been afraid of showing too much emotions, and exspressing too much feelings, so she didn't often talk about these things.
- I don't... I can't.... I want.....
She looked down, but I quickly pushed her head up again gently.
- I know its hard, but I want to spend it with you, I'm not hinting we shoud get married straight away, or do anything in that matter because I know you're too young, and we haven't been together for that long.. But all I want is just you.
I couldn't belive what I just said.. I was close to make myself sick of how corny I was getting.
- I want to spend it with you too......
She couldn't say anything more. I just burried her in my arms and held her tightly.
- So do you want to carry this ring for me, just as an eternity ring, nothing else.
I reached down in my pocket and dragged up a little ring I had bought earlier this month.
- Deryck..?
She looked at it surprised.
I just nodded.
- Are you sure?
She pointed at it, still surprised.
I nodded again.
- I don‘t know.. I have to think about it.
She broke loose from the grip I had on her and started to walk away. I couldn‘t do anything, I was crushed. I just turned around and stared at some spot, I don‘t remember what I stared at.

- Deryck wait.
As soon as I heard her voice I turned around to look at her.
She ran towards me and jumped on me, wrapping her legs around my waist and kissing me some pashionly kisses.

- So was that a yes?
I asked her when the kisses ended.
She just smiled at me and kissed me lightly on the lips.
- What do you think.
She said smiling even more at me. I just kissed her. Thats the only thing I remember from that moment, I was high, high from happiness.

At that time we wanted to spend our lives with eachother, then we had no idea four years later something would break us.

it´s unfair to just end it like that , you have to tell what´s gonna happen
