wow i'm shocked at the responses
 this is amazing...thanks so much you guys!  i'm working on an update, and i have to go to the skating rink this morning, but as soon as i get back, i'll try to get an update   you guys!

Kind of short one...
__________ Evan's POV "FUCK!" Avril screamed after stubbing her toe on the lamp while walking into the room. She yelled several more obscene phrases before shooting me the evil eye. "What are you looking at?" she snarled. I blinked. Wow. Someone had a bad day, I tought. I wasn't sure if I wanted to approach her or not. "Uhh...I take it your date went badly? What, did he get a call from his other girlfriend during dinner?" "Shut up," was Avril's reply. "I'm going to bed, and tomorrow morning, I'm heading back home." I watched while she brushed her teeth and washed off her makeup. She had an expression of rage glued on her face. Even when I used my middle and index fingers to make a bunny and made it hop in front of her face, she wouldn't crack a smile. That bastard Whibley. Whatever he did to her...I'm just going to kill him. Avril threw her toothbrush on the counter and it clattered. The sound made me wince. "Okay, Av. Spill. What the hell did Deryck do?" My response was that famous glare that meant, I don't want to talk about it. I took a few steps closer to Avril and wrapped my arms around her. "Come on." Avril began to sob. "I can't believe I fell for him! He's such a moron!" I led Avril to the bed and had her sit down. "Deryck? He's a nice guy. Seriously, what did he do?" "He's a fucking pothead. He does drugs!" I wasn't sure what to say to comfort Avril. I knew she hated drugs - Charlie had offered her marijuana once, and she had been outraged. But I really thought Avril and Deryck would make a great couple. Avril pulled her head from my chest and looked into my eyes, waiting for a response. When I didn't give one, she said, "I'm going to sleep. I'm exhausted." I nodded and got off her bed. She crawled under the covers, apparently too upset to change out of her clothes. Anger was pulsing through me. I really cared about Avril, and I was ready to kill Deryck for hurting her feelings. He was my friend, but Avril was like my little sister, and she was more important to me. I exited the room and walked quickly down the hallway to Deryck's room. I tried to open the door without a key but it didn't work, as one would expect. I banged the door several times before Deryck opened it. My fist was still in midair when the door opened. "Oh. Hey, Evan. Have you seen Avril?" he asked quietly. "Yes, I've seen her! She's a wreck!" "But she's the one who stormed out on me. What did she tell you?" "Something about drugs...." Deryck hung his head. "You have no idea how upset she is. She's flying home tomorrow." "What?! Oh crap! Where is she?" My eyes narrowed. "Why?" "I was going to talk to her tomorrow. I have to talk to her now." Deryck pushed past me and walked towards our room. Oh God...he has no idea what he's going into. Avril's going to cut off his... "Wait!" I called. Deryck turned around briefly. "I'd leave her alone if I were you." "No way. I've never met anyone like Avril. And with my luck, if I let her go back home, I'll never see her again." And with that, he knocked on the door. I closed my eyes. I hope you enjoyed having your balls, Deryck.
