Avril and her family stayed for dinner that night. The dinner table looked like it belonged at the white house. Big enough to fit a good fifty people. It was actually quite full. Almost the whole family lived in this house. Some, like Avril, had moved out, but everyone was over for dinner. They had all come to see me and Avril. Dinner was perfect, our mother had made it. "So Hope, your birthday is actually in a few days. What do you want?" My aunt Melanie asked. "Just to be home. I don't need anything, or even want anything, other then to be home with all of you guys." I said really quietly. "Hope, calm down, no one here bites. Atleast not much anyway." Avril said from across the table. "Oh, don't scare her Avril." My mother said. "We don't bite." Just as she said that though I felt a sharp pain on my ankle. "OUCH!" I yelled "What the hell was that?" I looked under the table, to see my one year old brother, Chris, sitting there showing his little teeth. "Well maybe you don't bite. But obviously he does." I said looking down at my ankle.

That night after all the little ones were in bed and everyone who didn't live here had left, the rest of us sat down in the huge living room. "So Hope, how've you been the last thriteen years?" My sister Samanta asked. Oh great I knew the questions would come. Damn I hope they are comfortable cause this is going to be a LONG story. "Are you gonna ask the real question there Sam?" I asked staring straight at her. "What do you mean?" She asked back, giving me the same look I was giving her. "I know you all want to know what he did. You all want to know what I've been through. I can see it written on your forheads. Just none of you guys want to be the one to ask it." I let out an audible sigh. Then I started. "Did you know that a human body can go thirty days without food? That is if it is healthy enough and has enough excess fat to nourish the body. Parker did. And he had fun starving me. Not for thirty days. The longest he went without feeding me was eight days. That was hell. He'd let me drink of course, I mean there was a bathroom attached to my room. But food, well, I only got that when he felt like feeding me. When Avril was still there with me it wasn't that bad. Not for me anyway." I stood up at this and lifted my shirt exposing my stomach. "See this scar here?" I asked pointing to a long white scar that was about three inches long. "I got that when I was four. He got pissed at me because I asked him for some food." I pointed to another. "That's from when I was five. He did that to prove a point to Avril. Something along the lines of, he could hurt me to hurt her." I pointed to one on my back. "That's from last year. I told him I wasn't going to let him rape me again." My mom came over to me. "Oh my god, Hope what are all these long scars on you back from?"

"Oh those?" I asked her. " Those are from being whipped. Just for the hell of it. He'd also make me put my hands in bleach. Pure bleach. That burned like hell. Didn't leave a mark though. I was never allowed out of my room. Unless he was with me. And even then I wasn't allowed out of the house." "Then how did you go to school?" Sam asked me. "I didn't. There was a computer in my room. He had it blocked so I couldn't email people or get on yahoo. But I did find a cyber school. I learned enough. Does that answer your question?" She nodded at me. "Two years after Avril left, he started raping me. That sucked like hell. But I'm still alive. And then one day, a little longer then a month ago I woke up and the door was unlocked. I don't know who unlocked it, but they had to have known that I was in there. Nothing was missing from upstairs that I could see. I had thought it was a robbery gone wrong but I don't think that now. No one took the valuble stuff that was in plain sight in the living room. That's where I found Parker dead." I paused and looked at the clock. It had been a long day, and I was tired. "How bad was the bullet hole? Was the chair he was sitting on ruined?" One of my uncle's asked. My face went white.

well considering that I'm now 12 paragraphs ahead of myself... I think I'm gonna give some more updates.... But not just yet cause I don't wanna spoil what happens next... Not until you guys read this part....
