I've write this and I'm bored, so new Update:

Avril’s POV


As soon as I leave the car I’m blind by a flashbulb. Paparazzi. Of course, it’s a new restaurant, it’s LA, how did I think they wouldn’t be here?

“Avril! How is your baby? When will you show her to the world?”
“Are you planning to have more kids?”
“Tell us how did you lost all the weight you gained on your pregnancy.”
“How do you feel hanging out and leaving your kid with someone else?”

“Let’s go.” Deryck wraps his arms around me protectively and helps me pass through them all. They for sure know how to be annoying.

The new restaurant is great; it’s kind of like a pub. There is a dance floor in the middle of it and the tables are around it.

The waiter follows us to our table.

“It’s a really nice place. I like it.” I smile to Deryck.

“Yeah, I like it too. But I like the best the fact we are here together.” He holds my hand and kisses it.

“Of course.” I wink. “Hum… I’m hungry.”

“Now tell me some news…” He jokes. “So, what do you want to eat?”

“I’m so in the mood for lobsters.” I say looking at the menu.

“Lobster?” He raises his eyebrows. “Are you sure?”

“What? You know I’m not the perfect vegetarian…” I roll my eyes. “I so want lobster.”

“Ok.” He says giving me a weird look. “Wine?” He asks me and I smile.

“Babe, I can’t. I’m breastfeeding.” I say and it makes me a little sad, because now I remember that Anne is at home, with the craziest nanny in the world and I’m here, that she’ll have to drink her milk on the bottle.

“Oh, yeah. I totally forgot it, sorry.” He apologizes and then tells the waiter what we want.

The meals arrive less than half an hour after we order, everything is good, really good, but I can’t really concentrate here. My mind is in another place. All I can think about is if she is ok, if Steve is feeding her, changing her diapers, if he didn’t let her fell in the floor… Oh my God! How could I leave her alone with him?

“Avril?” Deryck brings me back from my thoughts.

“Yes?”

“Are you okay?” He asks and then looks deeply into my eyes. “You are worried, aren’t you?” I nod. “That’s okay, that’s normal, it’s our first night away from her. She is okay, Av.” He rubs my hands. “If it will make you feel better, you can call Steve and ask him how things are going.”

“Oh, yeah. I’ll do that. I’ll be back in a minute.” I stand up, give Deryck a quick kiss and walk toward the bathroom to make the call.
