Avril’s POV

I’m having a nice dream when Michelle wakes me up to say that we arrive at home. I make an extreme effort to get out of bed. It’s almost 5 a.m, I probably slept about 4 hours, but it’s ok, because I’m finally at home and will be able to sleep in my own bed.

When I enter the house I catch myself thinking about where I will do the baby’s nursery. We have lots of rooms here, but I want one near ours, and the nearest one is a guest room, so, I think it won’t be a problem, and the studio is far from it, we won’t have problems with the noise. God… I’m really excited about the baby! I can’t wait to buy little clothes and shoes. And I’m really curious to know the sex! A girl would be awesome, I mean, dress her in cute clothes and make hairdos… but a little Deryck wouldn’t be bad either.

I go to the kitchen to take some snacks and then back to my bedroom to take a little nap.

There's no place like home!

Deryck’s POV

Today is my last day in Indonesia, and tomorrow I’m finally going back to my house and my wife. But I still need to buy a gift for Avril. I always like to bring something for her after my trips, but this time all were so crazy that I didn’t have the time.

“What are you thinking, dude?” Steve asks me during lunch.

“I still need to buy a gift for Avril… and I have only a few hours to get it.” I say still thinking.

“And what are you going to buy?” Cone asks.

“I don’t know… I like to give her jewelry… on my last trip to Japan I bought her a necklace that she loves… now I’m thinking about a ring… I don’t know.” I say.

“You’re such a cute husband, you know? There’s not mans like you out there anymore…” Jessica says to me. She’s been acting really weird these days, like always beginning conversations with me and I’m always the one who ends it. I have to admit I find her kinda boring.

“Thank you, it’s because I really love my wife and care a lot about her.” I say.

“Do you want help in your shopping?” She asks me.

“No, Jess, thanks. I think I can do it… I know my wife really well.” I say and smile.

I ended up buying a white gold ring with a big sapphire rock on it, blue as Avril’s eyes. I really hope she likes it.
