Deryck’s POV

Avril took exactly 50 minutes to get dressed and when she comes out I can’t believe how stunning she is. I mean, I always think she is so beautiful, but she was really shinning tonight.

She is wearing a beautiful red dress that I have never seen her wear before. It’s tight on the top and it ends above the knees. Her hair is up in a ponytail and it isn’t as straight as usual, it’s kinda curly. And she is wearing high heeled sandals.

My mouth is open while I’m looking at her.

“So… what do you think?”Avril asks me with a big smile and making a pose.

“Wow… you… you are really beautiful.” That’s all I can say.

“Thanks,” She says and give me a kiss. Then, she whispers in my ear, “And it’s all for you.”

God… I’m such a lucky guy.



Avril’s POV

I bought this dress like a year ago while shopping with my little sister Michelle. At first I didn’t want to buy it but she insisted, saying it looked so great on me and I would be really stupid if I didn’t buy it, so I ended up buying it. And I think she was right, and all that Cosmogirl reading was at least useful for something, because as soon as I left the room Deryck opened his mouth and stared at me, amazed.

“Let’s go,” I say while walking towards the door by his side. He is looking so good too. Can you believe he is wearing a tuxedo? My Deryck! I think the only time I saw him in a tuxedo was in our wedding. It looks like this night is going to be really special.

“Just a little thing before we leave,” he says, and takes a scarf that was on the table.

“What’s this?” I ask, confused.

“It’s a surprise. You can’t see anything until we arrive there,” he explains.
“Oh Gosh...you’re really into that surprise thing,” I say at last, and he puts the scarf on my face. We get into the car, I can’t see anything and I have no idea where we are going to. But I like it.



“OH MY GOD! Oh my god!” Now the one with the open mouth is me. I can’t believe he did it! “Deryck, babe, how can you be so perfect?”

He closed an Italian restaurant just for us. But it isn’t an ordinary Italian restaurant you can find everywhere in US, it is a small and romantic place, the walls are all made by small bricks and the light is only from the candles. And there are those guys with a typical Italian outfit playing the concertina. I feel like I really am in Italy, one of my favorites places in the world.

“So… do you like it?” Deryck asks me, putting his arm around my shoulders.

“WHAT? Do I like it? I totally love it, Der! I feel like I’m back to our honeymoon. Thanks,” I say, giving him a kiss.

“But… tell me… How did you find this amazing place?” I’m really curious about it.

“Ah… Avril, babe, I have my contacts,” he says, winking one eye at me. “Aren’t you starving?” He pulls a chair so I can sit on it.

“Thanks.” I say, sitting on the chair.

“I hope you’ll like the meal,” he adds.

“I’m sure I will.”

And I really did. We ate the most amazing pasta I have ever eaten in my whole life, and I’m not exaggerating, it was really delicious.

We drank a lot of wine and danced close to each other the whole night.
I don’t even remember when we came back to the hotel…it was like a dream.
