Avril’s POV

Today I’m on studio practicing for the tour! I’m so excited about that, and being here with the band, playing and singing makes me feel better. I’m already missing a lot my husband, I’m actually wearing his SUM 41 hoodie, so I can feel him closer to me.
Deryck is really doing what he promised and is calling me almost every hour, which makes some people here get mad, but I don’t care. Come on! My husband is more than a thousand miles away from me, I need to talk to him!

Now I’m playing the drums. I’m so proud of myself; I finally could play and sing “Runaway” without making anything wrong! Next thing is “When You’re Gone” on the piano, which finally is ready, it’s all pink! I love it! I can’t wait this tour to begin!

As soon as I finish an interview to E! [I did a lot of interviews today. And all of them had the same questions. All of them asked me if I was pregnant.] I listen my phone ringing. I smile looking at it. Deryck. It’s almost 9pm here in LA, which means it’s really late in UK.
“Hi, babe!”- I say and I hear a lot of noises in the other side of the line.
“Hi, sweetheart! How are you?” – He says and I hear laughs behind them.
“I’m fine. Guess what? Today I finally played and sang “When You’re Gone” and “Runaway” without making any mistakes!”- I say proud of myself. You know… it’s NOT a easy thing to do.
“That’s awesome, babe!”-He says.
“Yeah… and you? How was the concert today?”- I ask. They did a concert today in London.
“It was amazing, Av! The tickets were sold out, and the crowd was really great.”- He says excitedly and I feel happy for him. But how couldn’t the show be amazing? SUM 41 is one of the best bands I’ve ever heard! And I’m not saying that ‘cause it’s my husband’s band. It’s because they really are.
“That sounds so nice! I wish I was there to see you.”- I say kinda sad.
“Me too, but you’ve already seen, like, thousands SUM 41’s concerts. You are probably the person who has seen more concerts of the band in the whole world.”- He says and I laugh.
“Hey, Der, aren’t you coming?” – I hear some woman calling him in the other side of the line.
“Who was it?”- I ask suspiciously.
“Ah, that’s just Jessica, Cone’s British cousin. She is following us here in UK and helping with the production.” – He explains.
“Hum.. ok.”- I don’t know why but I don’t like this girl. I’ve never seen her in my life, but I don’t feel a positive vibe from her. And why haven’t Deryck ever talked about her before? I’m not jealous or anything like that, ok, maybe a little. She is there with them and watching their concert while I’m here, but I’m not going to get crazy about this. Deryck loves me and I totally trust him.
“Babe, I’ve gotta go. We are going out to celebrate the great show we did today. I love you!”- He says. They are going to celebrate. Nice. And Jessica is coming with them. Stop, Avril! Stop thinking about that!
“Ok, enjoy it. I love you, too.”- I say and hang up the phone.
“Hey, Av, do you want to come with us? We are going to a bar.”-Dave asks me. I’m about to say “no” but I remember Deryck is partying with his friends AND Jessica, so… Why not?
“Ok, it sounds nice.”- I say.
Wait! Did she call him “Der”?

Why are everybody over reacting over this, if you think of it, its a " real life " story, and like she said she's an Avryck so I think nothing will happen between those two, just a little over reaction on Avril's part..

amazing story, really!, but I have to correct something: I told you Shauna is Av´s manager and some of you said it´s Terry and we´re both right, cuz the two are on the same management team (network management) and are both her managers and Sum 41 are in the same management except maybe that Shauna isn´t working with them but just Terry...

Yeah, angie is right, both Terry McBride and Shauna Gold are Av's managers
