Alright....lets continue, shall we.....
She looked up to see a small man standing in the doorway....
A look of shock, on his face.

There was a long moment of silence...as the two just stared at each other, not knowing how to react.
Eventually....the young mans face fell into a wry, acquisitory smirk.
"I'm sorry," he chuckled,"....it's been awhile since I've seen a strange woman laying in my bed. I forget what I'm supposed to do....crawl in beside you, or call the police."
"I'd greatly prefer neither," Angela responded immediately.
"Sarcasm," he said flatly, "now who are you....and why are you dry humping my pillow?"
Not knowing quite what to say, partly due to the fact that she was still in shock from being caught, Angela darted her eyes around the room, hoping to find some sort of an answer. An idea came, when she saw a sweater draped over a chair, on the other side of the room.
"I'm Avril's stylist....," she lied, looking at the ceiling, to avoid having to make eye contact. "I'm styling her for the event thingy she's going to today......"
Slowly, Angela moved her eyes downward, to see if he believed her.
He was clearly unimpressed.
She grinned sheepishly, and gestured towards the pillow...."Egyptian cotton makes me horny....."
He just looked at her...with narrow eyes.
"......I think I'm going to get up now."
"I think maybe you should," the man agreed.
Angela slowly let go of the pillow, she had been holding.
As she inched over towards the edge of the bed, the little man spoke up....
"So...what happened to Nancy?"
"......Who's Nancy?," Angela slowly questioned, not exactly sure where this conversation was going.
"My wifes stylist....Nancy....been with her for the last...oh...4 years?"
Another awkward pause.
"Oh....She died," Angela finally replied. Her smile fell, as she immediately regretted what she just said. Worst liar
EVER. Oh well...may as well keep digging....."Kidney failure....horrible thing....poor woman.,"she said, trying to sound as sincere as possible.
The young man just stood there....arms folded, shaking his head.
Just as he was about to interrogate her even further.....
"
Deryck......what the hell are you doing here?"
Deryck spun around....to see his wife half-running down the hallway.
Her expression was a look of total shock...which quickly turned to a look of panic as she saw Angela standing there with him, in her bedroom.
"What are you doing here?" she repeated, mildly out of breath.
"Well..." he started, "I live here......"
"You're supposed to be in Australia."
"Oh yeah, funny story," he laughed, with a smile on his face.
Avril smiled too, on the inside....Atleast he was in a good mood.
"Apparently,.... only 3 people on the entire continent bought tickets." His smile quickly faded into a terrifying glare. "Isn't that funny?"
"Ouch," Avril whispered under her breath....
"Now
WHO'S THIS???"
Deryck pointed behind him.
"That....." Avril nervously started...."that is...."
Deryck nodded....waiting for an answer. Avril looked at Angela.
Angela knew she had to help Avril out on this one. She quickly pointed at her t-shirt.
Avril cleared her throat, and confidently said, "THAT....is my........." She stopped.....
"My dry cleaner??"
Angela put her face in her hands. Deryck rolled his eyes.
"No, no....she's my....." Avril yelled out, still trying to guess. "She's my...."
"Stylist?," Deryck offered, flatly.
Angela nodded.
"Yes!!!!...that's it!!! She's my stylist. Thank you baby. You are so smart. You know me....always forgetting things...." Avril giggled, as she walked over and gave Deryck a big hug.
As she hugged him...she exchanged horrified glances with Angela.
"So...." Deryck said, still holding onto his wife, "what happened to Nancy?"
Avril's eyes opened wide.
"Maternity leave," she blurted out, nervously "Nancy
loves babies."
Deryck just shook his head.
Feeling more awkward than she ever had before in her life, Avril let go of her husband, and looked at her watch.
"Well....it's just about that time. I have this
thing I need to be at."
"What, you're leaving?," Deryck whined. "I just get home, to spend some quality time with my wife, and now you're leaving?"
"God Deryck, it's for starving children," she said in her Valley-girl voice, grabbing hold of Angela's hand, and pushing her through the door. "You can be so selfish at times."
And with that, the two girls exited the bedroom, leaving Deryck standing there, in total confusion.
Walking out the front door, into the crisp morning air, both girls gave a sigh of relief.
"I totally think he believed us," Avril said with confidence.
"Yes....totally" Angela agreed, knowing completely well, that he did not. "Now, I need to go brush up my fashion skills."
"Yeah....and I need to fire Nancy."
Both girls laughed, and hopped into the car....
But as they drove away, Deryck stood upstairs, watching them, with skeptical eyes.
*OMG....WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT?*
If anyone cares to find out, let me now....and I just might make another update for ya
