BRING FAN FICTION BACK TO BANDAIDS!

CALLING ALL WRITERS!

Okay so we all know that the FanFicion section is suffering. And not much has been done to save it. So here's a campaign to Bring Fan Fiction Back to Bandaids! To take part, all i'm asking you to do is put a link in your Signature to either the Fan Fiction section, or more preferably, your FanFic thread. For those of you who are also familiar with other sections of the Forum, for example the Artwork section, make special Blends, Wallpapers, Avatars; anything that's at all appropriate to get people to come read, and write. Do whatever you can! Hopefully the Fan Fiction section will be buzzing once again - soon!

^Agreed. Commercialising it our most valuable tool so if we talk to the promo squad about maybe adding bandaids fan fiction as one of our luxuries ?

I think the fan fic part is less ''dead'' as it used to (like a few months ago... I felt like a teacher talking to walls )

I think a lot of people go to the fan fic part, the biggest ''problem'' is that people don't comment after reading. Yes this was officialy a hint


the point is that in the avril part of bandaids we all can talk about Avril, thats why most of us are here. Then you have the off topic part were we can all spam and talk about how cute our dog is and about our dump teacher. The other part other artist and bands part well people like music so don't have to tell a story about that. Then the movie part, we ALL watch movies no matter what. Then the fan fic part well.. it just takes time to read and to find out which story you like most and to read all storys just takes forever. So people who normally wouldn't go to the fanfic part wouldn't easy go there because it will take forever to find out which story they like or not because they have to read 100000 updates.

That's my theory about it

and bunny is so right, I thought the same, that people probably arn't visiting the FanFic section regularly because alot of stories are already established and have like a billion pages to get through before you catch up... I think people should begin to write stories that actually have ends and the basic structure of a story. Beginning - Middle - and End. I tried to end my story, but the readers complaned Lol. I was reading that Tips thread the other day, and I disagreed with alot of it. It's blabering on about how people should include 'Realism' and things. But stories don't have to be realistic... Why can't you just skip from being at a store to at home? Why do you have to know what happened in the car on the way home? That's boring... and also - stories should be a journey into the imagination of the writer, not like an episode of Big Brother. IT'S ALL JUST YAWN.

Woahh. Major babble. Lol. But its all true. Meh.
