Avril-
It was now night time (around 11:00). I was going to spend another night with Deryck but he had insisted I go home. I figured he was right. My mom had surely noticed I was missing by now. She was probably gonna kill me when I came home. But oh well…I would have to face her one day. I finally made it to my house and climbed up to my room. I entered my room to find my mom sitting on my bed, looking pissed. I looked down at the floor, scared. I knew she was gonna yell.
“Avril!!-“
“Mom, I can explain.”
“Please don’t! Save me the details on how you lost everything to Deryck!!”
“Mom, please…I didn’t give everything to Deryck! I just gave one thing to him!”
“Yeah…you must think im stupid. You gave him your trust, your love, and your virginity. And you completely disobeyed me!!”
“Well mom…im sick of you treating me like a child. Im not a child. Im turning 16 in two weeks. I can make my own decisions.”
“Oh…and I suppose you can make a living for yourself too…huh?”
“Yeah…” I said with doubt.
“If I threw you out, who do you think you would live with? Deryck?”
“Yeah…”
“Oh come on…you cant be so stupid. He only wants to use you for one thing…he doesn’t want to support you. He would probably make you his slut or something…if anything you would support him by fucking each of his friends.”
“Oh please mom. Deryck’s not like that. He’s not a pimp. He cares for me.”
“Yeah sure..he cares for you. He’s probably with someone else as we speak.”
“No hes not.”
“Avril…don’t back him up. And what happened to your neck now? It’s more purple than ever! Does he ever know when to stop? Do you even know when to tell him to stop?”
“Oh come on mom…I could tell him to stop if I want to.”
“No you cant…you’re like blinded by your love for him. You’re a fuckin’ idiot.”
“Excuse me…” I wasn’t gonna to say it but it just came out. “I’m an idiot!!! I’m an idiot!! You gave it to dad when you were only 13! Who’s the fuckin’ idiot now?!! Oh my god, you’re being such a bitch!”
Before I could say anything more, she smacked me really hard on my face. I felt my whole face grow numb. I could tell she had left a mark. I fell to the floor and began to cry hard.
“You think you’re so grown up right now just because you’ve fucked right? Well pack up your stuff now and go live with Deryck…since you think he loves you so much. I want you out of my house.”
“Fine…I’ll be out before morning.”
“No…I want you out now. All I tried to do was help you and try to stop you from making mistakes. And now you come back to me with this. Hell no! I want you out.”
With that, she left my room and left me there to cry. No matter how hard I tried…I just couldn’t stop. What’s gonna happen if Deryck’s mom doesn’t let me live with them? Why did I have to disobey her in the first place? Why did I have to talk back? Why did this have to happen to me?
