Ok so this is where I start off by saying stuff about this book... I've written this one before.. well quite a few chapters of it anyway... then I got bored with it because so many people influenced me on it. I wrote what my friends wanted me to write. So I just spent the last two days... Re writing it... It has some things in common with the other... Quite a bit actualy. But this one is different in ways of I re wrote the chapters from scratch... except chapter three... that was left alone cause it's good...... ok, anyway.... there are only Four story tellers in this one... Damien, Aly, Alex, and Chesney.... Hope you all enjoy it.....

Chapter One

Chesney

Life can be so complicated sometimes. Sometimes it feels like everything and everyone hates me. I mean I know it’s not true, but it still feels that way. My family is one of the richest families in all of the U.S. Because of that, people try to get close to me. They pretend to be my friend and then they use me. It sucks big time. I don’t know who I can trust anymore. I don’t even know if I can trust my family.
Damn it, why does life have to be so fucking complicated? I hate this! I hate the fact that my friggin’ biological mother is back. I don’t want her to be in my life. I wasn’t good enough for her when I was born. The only reason she wants me now is because my family is the richest family in the U.S. I thought to myself.
I’m Chesney Murray by the way. I’m one of four kids, and the only adopted child of Hope and Chris Murray. When I was only a few hours old, my biological mother left me in a park. If it weren’t for Hope, I’d be dead. Alex is the oldest child of the family. He’s only six months older than I am. I’m almost sixteen years old. I dress the way I want to dress. I have very blonde hair and blue eyes. My hair is pretty long and very curly. I have a very light complexion. I’ve tried to get a tan, I’m outside all the time, but nothing seems to help that. I think I’ll always be this light. I’m small, in more than one ways. I’m only about five foot two inches tall, and I’m pretty skinny, but don’t let that fool you. I can eat a ton of food and not gain a pound.
Alex is the protector of our family. Alex also has blonde hair, but his has some brown in it. His eyes are like our mothers, so blue they look like you can swim in them. He’s got very tan skin, probably because he’s always out in the sun, and since he’s always playing sports he’s very physically fit. He’s the big brother everyone wants. Girls want to be with him, boys want to be friends with him. He’s big into sports. Watching them, playing them, and living them. He’s the quarterback in football, the fastest guy in track, and the best pitcher in baseball. I guess you could say he’s a jock, but he doesn’t act like one. Unlike the regular jocks, he actually talks to quieter kids. He’s not stuck up and preppy, and he’d rather spend time with us rather than going out and hanging with the preps. Alex is a quick thinker, if it weren’t for him, we’d get into a lot more trouble. We don’t know what we’d do without him. Levi and Elizabeth would probably get beat up more often.
Levi and Elizabeth are our twin siblings. They’re thirteen years old, and thick as thieves. Neither of them go anywhere without the other. They are basically each other’s opposites. Levi has red hair, it has a little bit of blonde to it, but he’s a carrot top. His eyes are a lovely green. Kinda like jolly ranchers green. He’s got a light complexion like I do and is like a string bean. Elizabeth on the other hand has black hair that she must have gotten from Grandma Arya. Her eyes are a chocolate brown color that when she’s sad she looks like a sad puppy dog. Levi has a condition that when it’s flared up he can’t talk. Right now, he’s currently mute. Mom and dad taught us and our cousins how to speak sign language. The rest of the family taught themselves. Elizabeth tends to get a little jealous. She hates when he gets the attention. She does things to get attention herself, and that usually gets her into trouble.
Our cousin Damien turns twenty-one tomorrow. He’s the oldest child of our Aunt Avril and Uncle Deryck. Right now he’s in New York with his girlfriend Katie. They’ve been together since they were in the first grade. They need to get married already! I mean, I know for a fact that he wants to marry her, and I also know that she wants him to ask her. Damien is a chicken shit though so he won’t ask her. Damien looks like his mother, but he has his dad’s eyes. He was basically the spitting image of his mother, which could be a good or a bad thing, depending on how you look at it.
Damien’s the oldest of five kids. Aly is the second oldest. She’s eighteen years old. She’s the predictable child. She’s a goody-goody. Her grades are perfect, she has the perfect boyfriend, and what seems to be the perfect life. Aly loves the discovery channel, she’s always watching it. Caleb, her boyfriend is about as much as a dweeb as her, but they were both pretty popular in school, go figure. Aly looks like her dad. She has his soft brown hair, but just the opposite of her brother, she has her mother’s eyes.
Aiden is the next child in their family. He’s our age, sixteen, he’s a few months younger then Alex but a few months older than I am. He doesn’t look like either of his parents. He has black hair, with grey eyes. His skin tone was very tan, even though he hasn’t been out in the sun tanning for ages. Aiden is the experimental child. Ha-ha, that makes him sound like a project. He’s not an alien or anything. He likes to try different things. He’s the one who, when we were eight, tried to fly. He broke his arm. Six months later he jumped off a two story building and broke his leg. He’s broken so many bones. I can’t even remember them all. Right now he has blue spiked hair. He’s doing it to see what kind of reaction he’ll get out of people. God, he’s crazy.
I guess this leaves the other twins, Megan and Isabelle. They were born on the exact same day as Levi and Elizabeth. Mom and Aunt Avril couldn’t do anything without each other. Meg and Izzy are identical twins. They were both pale, had eyes that changed with their moods. Depending on how they felt they could have grey eyes, blue eyes, or a pale green eye color. They had strawberry blonde hair. They were little trouble makers. One day they were gonna get themselves killed.
“Chesney, get down here, Sara and her boyfriend are here.” My mom yelled up at me.
“Damn, can’t they leave me alone? I’ve already told them I don’t want anything to do with them!” I muttered under my breath.
I walked out into the hallway and ran straight into Alex. He stopped me and kissed the top of my head.
“Calm down sweetie, they won’t take you from this family. Just take a deep breath and go down there.” He said giving me a reassuring smile.
I loved how he could make all the problems in the world go away. He was good at it. I did as he said and took a deep breath, and then I walked down the stairs.
