Robert Pattinson to Star in Dune Remake by Peter Berg?

Robert Pattinson met with Friday Night Lights and Hancock director Peter Berg during his recent trip to Los Angeles, X17 reports. Peter Berg is currently working on a remake of the cult classic sci-fi movie and novel Dune. Could Robert Pattinson be playing an Alien soon? I noticed Berg is also signed on to direct Hercules: The Thracian Wars, based on the mythical Greek hero famous for his strength. Now, Robert Pattinson in a leather thong–that I would love to see!

Salon Owner Finds New Moon Script, Turns in for Premiere Invite

A salon owner from St. Louis happened upon the scripts for New Moon and the upcoming Robert Pattinson film Memoirs in the trash bin outside the Chase Park Plaza Hotel. Instead of selling the scripts or leaking them, she contacted Summit–

Casey Ray found two scripts, one for the vampire sequel “New Moon” and one for a different movie titled “Memoirs.” She decided to return them to the studio making the films. In return, she was invited to attend the movies’ premieres, her lawyer said.
Watkins helped her return them to Los Angeles-based Summit Entertainment LLC, the studio making the movies. He said the studio invited Ray to premieres for the two films, and will certify the scripts as authentic after the movies are released.

A local news source, WLTX, reports that the scripts were left at the hotel by New Moon star Anna Kendrick–

The scripts had been left and ended up in a dumpster outside the Chase Park Plaza Hotel in St. Louis by actress Anna Kendrick, who had been in St. Louis to shoot the George Clooney film, Up in the Air, according to Ray’s attorney, Albert S. Watkins.

Just goes to show, doing the right thing can pay off.

* Taylor Lautner Has a Fan in Demi Lovato



Still keeping busy while staying up in Canada, Taylor Lautner was spotted waiting for
a ride outside of his Vancouver residence.

The “Twilight” hunk stood alongside his father, as the pair were spending a little quality
time together while on break from shooting “New Moon”.

Meanwhile, Taylor has a definite fan in Disney star Demi Lovato, who recently twittered
about her love of the Wolfpack hunk and his movie series.

Demi wrote, “It’d be cool, of course, to play a character in the Twilight series or
whatever. That’s be a dream. That’d be really cool,” adding the Taylor is one of her
“really good friends and so adorable.”

* Fourth Twilight Movie Going Ahead?



Up until now there had been some serious doubts as to whether or not the fourth
'Twilight' book could be made into a movie. 'Breaking Dawn' has scenes that could be
potentially very violent and very sexual, so many people were concerned as to whether
or not they'd have to do an R-rated film. Some said they wouldn't even try to film the
movie because of the challenges involved with Renesmee, who grows at the speed
of light.

But, I have good news for Twilight fans!

"It appears that crossed fingers can relax, now, though. Instead of being listed as
"optioned property" on IMDb Pro, Breaking Dawn is now in "script," and "[p]lanning to
start in late spring 2010."

How WILL they do Renesmee? Maybe she'll just be a computer animated figure? I
don't see how else they could have an actor play her since she grows so fast!

Are you pumped about this news? I am! I have a feeling that as the series goes on in
film, each movie will just get better and better!

of the ads feature just about the worst photoshopping that we have seen taking Rob’s

The last time something was this mismatched was when TV Guide put Oprah’s head on

* New Moon: Michael Sheen Tweets, And It's Actually Exciting



Sure, you've probably seen this, but if you haven't, it's Michael Sheen chirping on
about how shooting for New Moon has gone. Yep, the guy that's playing Aro in the
Twilight sequel that's hitting screens in November has become the unlikeliest person
to turn to for updates regarding how the film is going.

And I actually like how it's turned out. I guess it's me and my fascination for seeing how
a shoot turns out, although I've been on one during my school years. Or, how easy it
feels when you read the tweets, but realize that it's harder when you're on them.

Filming's been underway since late March, of course, but the Volturi only began shooting
their scenes last week, and both the major stars composing that group of vampires--Sheen,
as well as Dakota Fanning--have been spotted in Vancouver days before the shoot. Filming
began last Thursday, according to one of the tweets.

And it seems Sheen is pretty enthusiastic about this thing--that, and he's able to be a
little jovial. "Met Stephenie [Meyer] yesterday on the set," he wrote on Friday. "She was
charming and enthusiastic and very positive. Keep forgetting how freaky I look with my
red eyes."

On his co-star Fanning: "I think [she] may look the most unsettling ... so angelic yet so
weird. As Jane that is, of course. Like an evil Red Riding Hood."

On his character, Aro: "[I] have decided my Aro is a cross between the Blue Meanie, the
Childcatcher and Nick Cave. But with red eyes."

And, perhaps, the littlest of things: there's apparently a man on set whose "job title is
Containment!" he surprisingly said. He later tweeted: "I believe he stops anyone taking
pictures on set and such like." So I guess you shouldn't expect seeing any more on-set
photos or videos for the foreseeable future.

With a November release date, things have gotten pretty hectic. "No rest for the
eternally wicked," he posted, while talking about his half-day reprieve in Los Angeles
before flying back north to Vancouver. And perhaps rightfully so, if they intend to finish
the film on time, which is a little feat considering how tight the schedule is.

California - After spending cold nights in the icy Canadian climate, Robert Pattinson
recently enjoyed a short break. But wait, his mind always shouts "Hollywood", and doing
another flick must be his priority.

According to X17, while Rob Pattinson is enjoying his short vacation, he met with
director Peter Berg. Berg is set to direct the big-screen adaptation of the sci-fi classic --
"Dune". The cast members of the original flick includes Sting, Francesca Annis and Kyle
MacLachlan. Berg is a great director. I love his masterpiece "Hancock", and adapting the
1984 classic is not a bad idea. Geez, Rob might play the role of an alien residing in the
outer space. From vampire world to alien world? Sounds cool.

After the meeting, Rob went straight back to LAX where he returned to the set of his

'Cause a New Moon party don't stop so hot!

On Friday night, the cast of Twilight sequel New Moon had a little celebratory
get-together at Vancouver's Bluewater Cafe.

After the party, stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson shared close quarters on
the sidewalk for a cozy smoke before facing the autograph-seekers and, eventually,
sneaking away!

We also spotted Ashley Greene, Rachelle Lefevre, Charlie Bewley, Michael Sheen,
and Cameron Bright enjoying the festivities.

Since the party, Rob has already returned to and departed from Hollywoodland.
Busy fella'!

A women found the New Moon script in the trash! Don’t worry though, REALLY luckily, the person who found it was a nice person, and returned it to Summit Entertainment. =)

“A St. Louis beauty salon owner accidentally happened upon one of the hottest Hollywood scripts — the pages from an upcoming “Twilight” sequel — in a trash bin.

Casey Ray found two scripts, one for the vampire sequel “New Moon,” and one for a different movie titled “Memoirs.” She decided to return them to the studio making the films. In return, she was invited to attend the movies’ premieres, her lawyer said.

Ray recently was waiting for her fiance to finish work when she spotted two scripts in a trash container. She was outside a hotel where actors were staying during a St. Louis shoot for the upcoming George Clooney movie, “Up in the Air.”

It’s not clear how the scripts wound up in the bin.”
