As Previously posted, we all got a first hand look at images from Twilight the Graphic Novel, well check out these new scans. I think it looks super action packed. The artist did an outstanding job with Bella, she looks totally stressed as always and the artist completely brought it to life. Did you peep Jacob’s long ponytail? Loves it. Check out these images and more in this weeks edition of Entertainment Weekly magazine.

I don’t know guys what do you think? I think I’m just always taken aback at how our precious saga has touched every piece of every country across the globe is what I think. I don’t know about that BD but the rest look pretty cool, New Moon looks the best though. Check out Breaking Dawn, so it that 800 Japanese Yen? Someone do the math and let us know, how much is that in U.S. and Canadian and British pounds.

Ashley Greene (aka Alice Cullen) will appear on the February issue of Savvy magazineIn a ten-page fashion spread and interview, the actress discusses her independent film, Skateland, as it debuts at the Sundance Film Festival. She also shares a behind the scenes glimpse at filming The Twilight Saga movies and discusses her most recent endeavor, landing the lead in the new Warner Bros. thriller The Apparition. “To actually be the lead of a studio film and to have input on it is just really cool.” said Greene. The movie begins shooting early this year in Berlin.

oh we are inching closer ...
David Slade says 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' is in 'phase 1' studio screening

'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' - Summit Ent.Despite what might've been murmured around the forum rumor mill, the first screening of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse - by "anyone out of editorial" that is - is happening now, according to a recent update issued by the film's director, David Slade.
According to him, today is a "big day" as the first "director's cut" is at "phase 1" with the studio's first screening of the film.
After months and months of reading Slade's countless updates about the post-production process (which seems, by the way, incredibly taxing and tedious), it seems that things are finally coming to a head and the editing process is nearing completion.
A director's cut of a film, of course, is not the final cut (and it probably won't even be made available to the public). The final cut is usually reserved for someone in the studio, who can make a few adjustments here and there to make the film more presentable in the box office. Those changes, for the most part, are not usually drastic. (Obviously, with varying studio interests and agendas, that statement is a heavily case-by-case matter. Who's to say how many changes will be necessary for Eclipse.)
For the meantime, though, this news means that things are progressing in the completion arena. While that doesn't necessarily give us any indication of when we should expect the first trailer for the film (though prior speculations may still be applicable), it does mean that the film is that much closer to being finished and ready for the theaters!
Very exciting, huh? Oh to be a fly on the screening room wall . . .
looks like there aren't as many choices this time around - hope they stick to it:
So many 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' DVD options to choose from
January 27, 3:02 PM

'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' DVD - Summit Ent.
Last time the subject of The Twilight Saga: New Moon on DVD came up, things were a little confusing - especially when compared to information circulating the blogosphere and newswaves at present.
That's my doing, in a way, and I apologize.
Home Media Magazine had conducted an interview with a home entertainment representative of film studio Summit Entertainment, and they quoted him to say that there would not be varying editions of New Moon offered to the separate markets. This was interpreted here to mean that there would not be market exclusives like there were last year with the Twilight DVD.
However, this has since been explained to be a statement meant to exclusively apply to the availability of the Blu-Ray version of New Moon, not DVD. So, in other words, there still will not be market-specific versions of New Moon on Blu-Ray, but, as it has been seen over the past couple of days, there will be different versions of the DVD offered at varying stores.
As of now, while details are still limited as to what each store has to offer, this is what is on the table with the New Moon DVDs. Keep in mind that these are subject to change, of course.
Target
Target has a 3-disc deluxe edition DVD that comes with a "bonus collectible film cell." It includes "the 2 Disc Special edition plus a third disc of never before seen content." The two-disc special edition coverage includes "over 70 minutes of special features including: revealing feature length commentary with Director Chris Weitz and Editor Peter Lambert; a riveting 6-PART DOCUMENTARY that takes you behind the scenes (Part 1: Life After Twilight; Part 2: Chris Weitz takes the helm; Part 3: The Subtle Details; Part 4: Time to Shine; Part 5: Tricks of the Trade; Part 6: Ready for the World); Band Rehersal Footage with Muse; and Music videos from Death Cab for Cutie, Anya Marina, and Mute Math!" The specifics on the "bonus" content of the third disc are as yet unavailable for this product. You can keep an eye on it (or pre-order if you wish) here.
List price: $26.99
Walmart
Walmart has a two-disc anamorphic widescreen version of the DVD that includes all of the features listed in the above section about the two-disc special edition. Check their listing out here.
List price: $22.32
Barnes & Noble
Barnes & Noble has an exclusive edition of the DVD which includes all of the features of the two-disc special edition but also comes with the following: "This edition comes with a New Moon Dreamcatcher Bag Clip, a metal dangle finished in antique brass that combines a circular dreamcatcher, a sculptural Wolf Pack-tattoo charm, a Wolf Pack jewelry tag, feathers, and crystals." You can keep an eye on their listing here.
List price: $23.79
Borders
The store offers the two-disc edition of the DVD. Their listing is available here.
List price: $22.99
Amazon
Offers the same features as the standard two-disc edition (director commentary, band rehearsal footage with Muse, music videos, and six-part documentary behind-the-scenes). Amazon's listing is
.
List price: $21.99
Best Buy
Best Buy seems to have the same two-disc edition that many of the other vendors carry. Here is their listing.
List price: $24.99
iTunes
iTunes has the movie available for pre-order. Features unknown. Listing available here.
According to MTV, "There will also be a Fan Event Q&A with Rob, Kristen, Taylor and Chris — probably from Comic-Con or one of the Hot Topic tours, as well as a bit called "Fandimonium" with a look at the "Twilight" fan culture. There will be a "Team Jacob vs Team Edward" piece, some deleted scenes, introduction special features for the Volturi and Wolfpack, an Edward and Jacob "Fast Forward," special videos on Edward going to Italy and Taylor Lautner becoming Jacob, and finally a feature called "Frame by Frame: Storyboards to Screen."
Surely, as time progresses and the date of the film's release to home entertainment venues nears, more details will come.

Awesome ‘New Moon’ Premiere Fan Encounter!

Here’s an AWESOME fan encounter with one of our newmoonmovie.org readers at the New Moon premiere in Los Angeles last November! I just thought I’d share these photos with you, my name is Emma from Australia and I won a competition to the premiere of New Moon in LA back in November. I took my good friend Kathryn (who is also a huge Twilight fan) and we got to go to the after-party and managed to get some awesome pics with some of the cast. I couldn’t get over how lovely and down-to-earth they all were and very willing to have fan pics with us! Nikki Reid and Anna Kendrick were especially lovely, spending the time to talk to us and answer our questions (which I’m sure they have heard thousands of times before!).
We got to meet more of the cast in the actual movie theatre, including Robert Pattinson *swoon* who was just as gorgeous in person as he looks on camera. It was honesty the best night of my life and it still feels like a dream but I’m so glad I got the opportunity and also got to meet so many other Twilight fans that will be friends for life.
Congratulations Emma!! Lucky lady! That is amazing. Great pictures! I just love our Twilight cast.
Thank you Emma for sharing your story and pictures with us!
Check out the rest of Emma’s pictures after the break!

slow week in Twilight news huh?
looks like there'll be major choices to be made come March 20:
The Borders version of New Moon to complement their Twilight DVD
The Twilight Saga: New Moon [Borders Exclusive with Medallion] - Chris Weitz - DVD (UPC 0025192058318) - Buy Books, Music and Movies at Borders
It's not online yet but when I went to FYE yesterday I saw they are going to have a collector's box similar to what amazon had last year.
Best Buy will have the Steelbook cases.
another baby step:
'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' director David Slade adding more Robert Pattinson to the film

'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' - Summit Ent.Last week, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse director David Slade let everyone know that the film was in "phase 1" of "director's cut" screenings with the film studio, Summit Entertainment.
As noted back then, that screening would probably not be of the final cut, and edits would likely be required by the studio for one purpose or another.
Today, David Slade confirmed the fact that edits are now happening, saying "Cutting like crazy, the film is getting closer working through the weekends again, adding more EDWARD!"
Adding more Edward (portrayed by Robert Pattinson)? Probably a good idea. While The Twilight Saga: New Moon was expected to have less of "Edward Cullen" in the picture and more of the werewolves (namely, "Jacob Black" by Taylor Lautner), Eclipse is - literally - a different story.
Back in December, Slade promised fans that "Edward seems to be a really strong presence, the intensity of the love story & rivalry between Jacob is in the driving seat," but he also stated that there was a "great state of balance" and that "it's all even with the action sequences."
Looks like the studio cuts are beckoning the weight of the balance to favor the relationship end . . . maybe? Any other thoughts on the message?

**RUMOR** According to a user on IMDB.com the first Eclipse trailer will be shown with the movie Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightening Thief
Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightening Thief opens in theaters this weekend. We have not received any official confirmation if this is true or not.
As I said in the title: Rumor Alert. My personal thoughts are that yes — I really do hope this is true. But my gut tells me that it will come out with Remember Me. I hope I’m wrong!
Please stay tuned to this post for any updates!

Good God just kill me now Summit! How is 1 supposed to get all the extra features with the least amount of DVD/Blu-Ray purchases? I know the answer won't be 100% clear til we get much closer to March 20.
1) Standard DVD or Blu-Ray
2) Borders DVD
3) Target's Deluxe DVD or Blu-Ray
4) Best Buy's Steelcase DVD or Blu-Ray
5) FYE's Ultimate Edition DVD
and now
6) Walmart's DVD with the Eclipse stuff.
then there's also the Soundtrack Companion, Twilight in Forks documentary and the Graphic Novel coming out that week.
