It's really just funny sometimes. Like all the superduper expensive tube guitar amps come from US or the UK, and nearly all have Russian tubes in them...Because they are the last ones able to produce tubes of good quality. Because there are only 2 choices left on the tube market...and the other one is chinese garbage.

Paris is like a headlength taller than Avril...And Paris and Deryck seem to be nearly the same size in that picture...So either Deryck stands on a beer crate or is wearing some nice Spice Girls alike plateau shoes.
