^I know. First they take away my BTVS. Then the O.C. Now possibly VM could be going away too. Damn it! That ticks me off. Before long GG is gonna be gone too. Its on 7th season now. So mostly like they could or could not be a new season next year. All my TV shows are going away

What I find hard to believe is that they gave 7th Heaven, a show that ran its series finale last year, another season on the CW (and maybe more? I hope not). Yet somehow it's too much to ensure the safety of a quality show like Veronica Mars. I haven't been as enamored with the show this season (season one is still my personal favorite), but I think some of that has to do with the CW itself...I don't know if they're trying to take creative control from Rob Thomas and company, but they need to step aside and let him work his magic. If it isn't the network at fault...then I don't know what to say. I don't want to lose the one show that I (among many others) find engaging, intelligent, and overall very worthwhile.

Nope still no reply, this is what I wrote, it's pretty long. lmao.
Dear The CW,
There are, currently, about 4 shows on the air which prove there are at least some Americans who don't need a dictionary to read People magazine. Veronica Mars is one of those shows (and definitely the only one *you* control). So I beg of you, don't help make America any dumber than it already is. Save Veronica and shelf that newest reality show where people engage in logic contests with cows (and lose).
Do you want to insult my intelligence anymore than you already are? While your at it, why don't you spit on any young female out there with any goals or future. Replacing a smart, sassy, positive role model like Veronica with a slutty Pussycat Doll? Are you freaking kidding me? Obviously not. And while we're here, cancel 7th Heaven already. Seriously, is there a Camden kid left? Even they are smart enough to leave the show. Your biggest mistake so far was getting rid of GG mastermind Amy Sherman-Palladino, which, in turn has ruined Gilmore Girls. Don't make VM be your biggest mistake.
So, even though VM doesn't bring in the big numbers, its has other more important things working in its favour: continuous flow of critical acclaim, loyal fanbase (loyaler than any shows with better ratings might i add), intelligent writing and fine acting, making it a signature show on The CW as well as the most well valued and respected.
Veronica has drama, comedy, romance, thriller, mystery and noir all rolled into one hour. What other show do you have that can do that? And you'd be crazy to give up an established ensemble cast thats so great and attractive, yet so talented (To have, and lose Kristen Bell is crazy.) What other tv show could get Paul Rudd, Kevin Smith, Dan Castellaneta, Alia Shawkat & Michael Cera and Ed Begley Jr. to guest star? You tell me...
This show has already gone down as one of the best shows in history. Why give that up CW? When you picked it up you knew the show was only averaging 2.5 million and has since improved without hardly any promotion. What did you expect? A HUGE improvement in numbers on your network? You knew that wasn't going to happen. VM is the 'Buffy' (but better) of the noughties. When Buffy finished no one thought anything could top that cult classic. VM has already proved that wrong. It is a show people will remember respectfully in 10-20 years time as opposed to shows like One Tree Hill, All of Us, Girlfriends, Supernatural etc which will be a distant memory.
Do not make Veronica Mars the Arrested Development of 2007. AD's cancellation has gone down as one of the worst in televisions history, yet if VM gets cancelled it will go down right next to it (a mere 3 seasons of amazing under rated television for both).
If The CW have a shred of dignity they'd keep this show instead of being known as 'the moronic network famous for cancelling Veronica Mars, most famous for The Pussycat Dolls" You don't want FOX's reputation for letting a gem like this slide through your fingers.
And while your at it give VM some money! God, you pay next to NOTHING to promote it with any advertising (hence the low ratings), the show is on the most POOREST budget (although, somehow manages to look amazing) and can only afford 1-2 supporting characters an episode due to your CHEAPSKATE network. Its probably the easiest for you to produce too. I seriously doubt that anyone on your network has even SEEN this show if your even considering cancelling it. Your execs obviously have no experience dealing with BIG decisions and probably enjoy Smallville. I rest my case.
I despise your network and you haven't even cancelled Veronica yet (although it seems imminent). Hell, i don't even live in America and I hate your network. I'm from Australia as a matter of fact and have a huge amount a friends who enjoy the show immensely too. In your decision I hope you remember the millions of international fans who can't help contribute to the American ratings (and realise that VM's final numbers are effected by things such as pre-emption, TIVO, 2 month hiatus' and lack of promotion - which i blame your network for). If you cancel VM I hope your network never achieves mainstream success and crashes and burns. Harsh, but you'll most probably deserve it.
Renew Veronica Mars and prove me wrong. Restore my faith in your network and maybe you'll get some respect that you deserve.
Sincerely,
The Demographic with a Brain who would happily turn lesbian for Kristen Bell
AKA Prue, 18 Australia.
P.S Veronica Mars is smarter than you.
P.P.S I know I will probably get a response (or no response) saying something like
"thank you for your expression of interest but unfortunately TV i s a business, and a business goal is to please the majority and make as much money as possible. If Veronica Mars does unfortunately come to the end of its run this season it will be purely because of financial reasons not quality ones... blah de flippin duh"
screw that seriously. You know thats not true and I just wanted you to know. It probably obvious to you now that people who watch Veronica Mars aren't brain dead.
I don't think you realise the impact a show like this has on people.
