For every 1 question they answer they try to bring up 5 more. I read that in an interview with the director.

I love Lost. I started watching by accident when I turned on the tv halfway through the series premiere and wanted to know what it was (I was away at school and didn't have my handy-dandy satellite with the guide on the TV). Then when that ended I was like "HOLY CRAP WHAT IS THIS SHOW IT'S AMAZING" and have watched it religiously since.
IMO it went downhill in season 2... but the last 20 minutes or so of the season finale? AMAZING.
And my biggest pet peeve about the show is that nobody ever questions anything. Or when they do, they ask one thing and there's absolutely no follow-up questions. Like in the episode really early in season 2 (before Michael took off and NOBODY CARED FOR LIKE THREE MONTHS) where Ana-Lucia, Libby, Eko and Bernard are walking Michael, Sawyer and Jin back to their camp and Michael's like, "You said there were 42 of you. What happened to the others?" and Eko's response is just "They died." And... silence. What? No follow-up questions, Michael? You can't think of ANYTHING AT ALL that you'd like to ask?
That show frustrates me sometimes. But I kinda love it.

They don't want our questions to be answered. More addicting than heroin...... lol
