Yeah, the LOST thing was a joke. I seriously haven't been comparing Heroes to LOST, but I've been comparing it to the first season. [which wasn't a big hit for me, either - but still a good show!]
Yes, you're right S1 got better after episode 8-9, but at least it was new, and we already had a cool storyline. [Save the cheerleader, Save the world]
There are so many storylines right now, and maybe two or three of them are of any interest to me.
Like the Micah-Monica one. [cos it's new!]
One example of a storyline I'm getting bored of fast is Claire's.
I loved her storyline in the first two episodes, but now it's just getting boring.
It's not even like West has a new power or anything.
The thing is, after season 1 ended, the creators kept telling everyone that Season 2 aka. VOLUME 2, will be about
new heroes, and there will be hardly any old ones.
Obviously I'd have missed the old heroes, but at least the new season would be interesting and fun, and NEW. Not it's just showing the same old stuff.
Also, I was extremely dissapointed by the fact that the writers are scared to kill off any major character. They are obviously just trying to please the fans - which IMO is not the way to write a show.
They also shoved Niki out of the storyline, obviuosly because if you go onto most fan forums, you'll fine 1 our of 10 people who actually can stand her. [not even like, just can stand] So they are obviously doing that to please the fans aswell.
Sylar was obviously a fan favorite, so of course they didn't kill him. [personally I'd have been happier if he would be gone, and we would have a new, much scarier villain - cos he's getting old lol] Same with Matt, Nathan and Peter.
They obviously weren't gonna kill Peter, because he
is the main character. But Nathan and/or Matt could've easily gotten killed off. Especially Matt. IMO his character is one of the most boring ones ever.
And Pruey, I would love to hear your thoughts on LOST. Even if they're bad.

[of course only after you've seen each and every single episode]
