And people keep asking, where is Vanessa?!

I'm not familiar with the books at all, but I see on IMDB that the fans of the books, are disappointed by certain 'changes'. Big changes, like you said Melissa, Jenny's cleavage, wich I heard was a big deal.

I get that you can't film page to page perfectly, but such things shouldn't be changed.

Oh yeah Serena's brother is younger than in the books. So that that Blair, doesn't hook up with him, which I read happens in the books.

And people feel that the girl that's been cast as Serena, doesn't live up to the drop dead natural looking gorgeous girl, that the books make her out to be.

I think I'm gonna watch it though, it's kinda like The OC (same writer) and it's set in NY, and that's something different.

Yea, I just remember Jenny is supposed to have balloon boobs and brown, curly hair. SO not her. But the first episode was very good. Can't wait to see the rest!

I hear that it's one of the worst new shows ever. I sort of believe them, I've seen a bit and I don't like it very much. Sorry to all you fans but that's just how I feel. But what I didn't see and I would very much like to, was the scenes with Kristen Bell's voice!

I downloaded and watched the pilot today. Its kinda derivative of the OC but pleasant enough tosh i suppose. i like the guy playing the son of the former rock star. lol i cant remember any names but he was hot.

**SPOILERS**

And the plot line for serena having to leave was unbelievable. You sleep with your best mates bf so decide to go away to boarding school for a year????

And that bloody stupid unseen narrator got on my nerves. I wish somone would shut her up permanently.

Well since she is unseen her body, face, smile and dance moves are irrelevant. But her voice is completely annoying IMO. Its meant to be knowingly ironic but comes off as superficial. Or maybe its supposed to come off as superficial because she is being knowingly ironic? Beats me. i just wish she would shut up.

I watched this today..It's was pretty good.. some parts were a bit cheesy but I'll probably keep watching it for now
it is annoying hopefully they will drop the narrating and Kristen Bell will join the show . i hate when she says S for serena :S
