Ahhhh I am so excited that Peter Jackson is filming The Hobbit! I haven't even read the book, but I guess I should. Either way, I'm just ecstatic that there is another film related to LOTR's haha.

i haven't read Hobbit too..but if Peter Jackson made the movie i'm sure i'm gonna love it...

"The Hobbit" sEQUEL(2011) The two "Hobbit" films - "The Hobbit" and its sequel - are scheduled to be shot simultaneously, with pre-production beginning as soon as possible. Principal photography is tentatively set for a 2009 start, with the intention of "The Hobbit" release slated for 2010 and its sequel the following year, in 2011. Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh will serve as Executive Producers of two films based on "The Hobbit." |

I love all the 3 parts of LOTR as well.
I've also been to a marathon in the theatre about a year ago (won it as a price including the Special Edition DVD's). All the 3 movies on the big screen in one afternoon and evening. Over 9 hours of viewing pleasure lol.
