Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Trailer Premeiring Over Valentine's Day!
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is slated for a Memorial Day 2008 release. We've known that for some time now, but we haven't known when the first trailer would premiere... until now!
CHUD.com is reporting that the much-awaited trailer to the fourth Indy flick will premiere online at 12:01 a.m. on February 15.
The site was told that Entertainment Tonight would show teaser portions of the trailer on their Feb. 14 episode and that, oddly enough, the trailer will premiere in theaters on the 14th, which is a Thursday, as well. We're not sure what the strategy behind that is, but that's what we were told.
So, if you normally see movies on Thursday's, I suppose you're good to go, otherwise, you'll have to wait and see it online on the first minute of the 15th.
Timothy Spall Talks His Future in the Harry Potter Film Series
MovieHole.net recently chatted with actor Timothy Spall, who portrayed Wormtail in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire revealed that he will be appearing in the last two films.
"Well I'm actually.... yes... I'm in the next one", Spall revealed. "And I'm also in the one at the end - I have a very big scene in that. I think they might be shooting two of them back-to-back - hard to know though, what with this writer's strike and all. They're shooting the penultimate one at the moment - which I have a brief appearance in it. I should be doing that soon."
The actor can currently be seen in the theaters in Johnny Depp's Sweeney Todd.

All this and more in issue 2 of Supernatural Magazine. Read on for a taster of our interview with Jared Padalecki.
In an exclusive interview with Supernatural MagazineSupernatural set...
Right from the start, Supernatural creator Eric Kripke made it easy for Jared Padalecki to settle into the role of Sam Winchester. "My first impression of Eric was that his commitment was absolute," recalls Padalecki, when asked to cast his mind back to those first few weeks of filming. "He's in love with the show, he's in love with the characters, and he's in love with the mythology. He always says he's a student of Joseph Campbell, who's [basically] the father of mythology. That's what stuck out to me the most - his commitment to the story and to Supernatural."
"There's been a lot of self-discovery, both through playing the role and through the nature of the show we shoot. I'm sort of living life like Sam. I don't really know what's coming up in the next week or two and I'm living in a place I'm unfamiliar with, away from my friends and family. You learn a lot about yourself because you don't have your normal vices so readily available and you're working so hard. I've actually learnt - pleasantly - that I'm capable of working a lot harder than I thought I was, because we're working crazy hours and doing crazy, crazy things. I found that I am up for it, so that's been very good."
Every issue Supernatural Magazine pose your questions to show creator Eric Kripke. Hot topics this issue include the writers strike and its effects on season three, the show's longevity, and the scariest urban legend ever...
Are Sam and Dean based on anyone you know?
Natalie, Big Spring, TX
Eric Kripke: Yes, they are. At least in the beginning of the series, there was a lot of myself in Sam. I'm a little brother; I have a close relationship with my big brother, who stayed in the family business, while I, the black sheep of the family, moved out to California. So I related to what Sam was going through. However, since then, Sam has taken on a life of his own, and we don't share nearly as much in common. For instance, I never came back from the dead, nor am I central to a mysterious demonic conspiracy. (Or am I...?) Dean is a composite of several people. My big brother Matt, of course, but also my best friends Ben and James. They're all basically my brothers. And Ben, especially, is quite the smart ass, and couldn't care less what other people think. Character traits that, obviously, Dean possesses in spades.
LaBeouf on Indy 4, Transformers 2 & Y: The Last Man
On Friday, ComingSoon.net got to hang out on the set of Paramount Pictures' upcoming thriller Eagle Eye, which stars Shia LaBeouf, and while we're excited about his latest project, we of course had to ask a few Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and Transformers 2 questions:
ComingSoon.net: It sounds like you might work with director D.J. Caruso for a third time on "Y: The Last Man"?
Shia LaBeouf: Yeah, we've been talking about it. "Y: The Last Man" is cool. I don't know when I would do that though or how I would fit it in. It would be kind of ridiculous to keep doing the same deal over and over. "Y: The Last Man" is kind of similar to some things. We're both huge fans of that comic book.
CS: Can you compare the scope of this film to "Indy 4" and "Transformers"?
LaBeouf: "Indiana Jones," the scope of it is insane. "Transformers" had a different kind of scope. This is a more realistic vibe than both of those films. The action is different. It's less grandiose and more offsetting real. To make it look that real, it's almost easier to go bigger. Indy has a campy... there's a humor to all of the action. It's a very different type of action. This is not slip on a banana peel, that type, this is a whole different deal. It's very real. It's candid reality.
CS: Did you do a lot of physically demanding work in "Indy"?
LaBeouf: Yeah.
CS: Any word or update on "Transformers 2"?
LaBeouf: We're in the middle of a strike so you can't write a script and you can't make a movie without a script so that's where we're at.
CS: Is there any truth to you continuing the "Indy" franchise on your own?
LaBeouf: Am I into it? Who wouldn't be? I don't think that's reality. It's a fun rumor.
CS: Is there anything you're looking forward to seeing in "Indy"?
LaBeouf: The movie. I'm just as anxious as you guys are. I haven't seen anything. [Spielberg's] just secretive with certain people. He's locked in a room. And then George [Lucas] gets his cut. It's not like, "Hey it's Shia's viewing time." I'll see it when the premiere
happens.
CS: Before you were doing these big budget action films, you were doing smaller character drive movies. Is that something you'd like to get back into doing?
LaBeouf: I think that every career has stages. This is the stage I'm in now. I'm 21-years-old. It's insane for me to be here. I'm extremely fortunate. I'm enjoying this. I enjoy that also. This is just what is going on now. This little group of directors and friends that I've created now over the last couple of films, we enjoy working with each other and some of those movies have sequels attached. To do "Transformers" with Mike [Bay] would be awesome. If we do it or not, who knows. But there are some smaller movies I'd love to do, sure. I read those constantly. I read those just as much I read the bigger ones. I don't control a lot of this. This is just sort of happening. It's beautiful and I enjoy it, but I think if I keep doing this over and over again, it will lose it's charm I'm sure.
The first Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull trailer is expected to hit theaters on February 14th. The movie will be released on May 22. Eagle Eye is scheduled for an August 8 release, while Transformers 2 is tentatively eyeing a June 26, 2009 release.
Michelle Monaghan Talks Wolverine
Source: Heather Newgen
January 19, 2008
Last week, it was rumored that Michelle Monaghan was up for the role of Silver Fox in 20th Century Fox's "X-Men" spin-off, X-Men Origins: Wolverin, to be directed by Gavin Hood and starring Hugh Jackman, Liev Schreiber and Kodi Smit-McPhee.
On Friday, we got a chance to talk to Monaghan on the set of her upcoming thriller, Eagle Eye, and she confirmed that she is up for the role.
"They've asked me to do it," she said. I really like Hugh Jackman and it's areally, really great franchise and stuff. I think we're going to have to work on dates and see if it conflicts. We'll see."
