Best Batman movie yet?

I cannot wait for this movie, and I can't lie, Heath Ledger as The Joker is a (quite large) part of the reason. When I first heard he was cast as The Joker, I thought "ehhhhh," mostly since 1) Ledger can barely hold an accent, any accent, through an entire movie and 2) the last person to play that role on the big screen was Jack Nicholson... not an easy pair of shoes to fill. Add to that the fact that Christian Bale is so far from my favourite Batman...

But now that the full theatrical trailer is out, all I can say is "ASKHDALKSHREHRKHKWA." I know, not even anything coherent. Heath Ledger looks and sounds amazing - and I think that's because he didn't even attempt to play the Jack Nicholson version of Joker, he went for completely batshit (pardon the pun) insane, and from the trailer... he's good at it.

In conclusion, here's hoping Heath Ledger doesn't scar me for life the way Nicholson did. Not cool, Jack. Not cool at all.

I still havent seen Batman Begins, I know I suck.

But the trailer and posters i've seen for this look promising. Heath Ledger is a risky choice, although I have the feeling that it will pay off. He brings this creepy eerie vibe to the movie.

I cannot wait for this movie. I (like most fans) was kinda weary about Heath Ledger as Joker but after watching the trailer I think he's gonna do a fine job. This, (along with the new Indiana Jones movie, are the main things I look forward to in 08.
