Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Hey I don't know if any of you guys know or have heard of the new Judd Apatow produced comedy Forgetting Sarah Marshall. It looks absolutely hilarious and is due out on April 18 2008.

The movie was written by Judd Apatow and Jason Segel (Freaks and Geeks, Knocked Up & How I Met Your Mother fame) and stars Segel in the lead role opposite Kristen Bell ().



The plot goes a little like this:
Peter Bretter (Segel) is a music composer who is madly in love with his "hot actress" girlfriend Sarah Marshall (Kristen Bell). But when Sarah dumps Peter for a preening British rock star Aldous Snow (newcomer comedian Russell Brand), the sensitive slob of a guy goes into an emotional tailspin. At the advice of his well-meaning stepbrother (Bill Hader), Peter decides to take a solo trip down to Hawaii staying coincidentally at the same hotel as his ex Sarah and her new beau. He soon discovers that it is going to be extremely hard to forget Sarah Marshall.


The flick also stars Mila Kunis (That 70's Show, Family Guy), Jack McBrayer (30 Rock) and features cameos from Apatow regulars - Paul Rudd and Jonah Hill as well as Jason Bateman (Arrested Development, Juno).

Forgetting Sarah Marshall has opened in festivals to extremely positive reviews hailing it "The Best Comedy of 2008" and "Funnier than Knocked Up and on par with Superbad."

The movie is rated R for sexual references, course language and nudity (Thats right, Jason Segel does the FULL monty!)

I laughed so hard at Russell Brand here. "How can a mobile phone murder you or have a hidden agenda?" and "It's a metaphor for a crap movie."

This movie looks so funny. I'm already quoting it. And I really hope is boosts the careers of Jason and Kristen () cos they are both seriously awesome. Russell Brand looks absolutely hilarious as well.
And I wouldn't be the Resident Bandaids Kristen Bell if I didn't whore her out a little and say how hot she looks in this movie. You guys are gonna love her, hands down.

I can't wait to see it. it looks like a comedic gem and right up my alley. I'll be there opening weekend fo shizzle. Go see this movie guys, and tell all your friends!

EDIT: Just one problem... it's by the creators of Knocked Up and I hated that movie. Oh well, hopefully it'll be better. I still can't wait because I mean it's Kristen Bell and Jason Segal.

Do NOT talk about this movie to me!
I was supposed to see it Tuesday night (our university, b/c of its proximity to Universal Studios, got Universal to allow us to show a special screening of it, even though it doesn't come out until next week), but they gave out more tickets than there are seats in the cinema room in the Union, so I didn't get in!

I saw Prom Night at the moovays last night and they played the trailer for FSM and the whole audience was cheering and laughing. I think its going to be a hit *fingers crossed*
