Phantom of the Opera

I am really into musicals lately, so I of course had to see this...I don't know why, but I didn't think I would like it at all at first. But it was bloody beautiful. Very mesmerizing. Emmy Rossum was beautiful as Christine, and her voice was amazing.

I'm like the least romantic person in the world ( I hate romantic movies) but somehow the song "All I Ask of You" really made me want to tear up...it was so sweet and beautiful, and makes you feel so hopeful that you will find love like Raoul and Christine had. Okay. I will stop being cheesy haha...

But it was a really wonderful movie, overall. If you like musicals, check it out.

This is the one and only opera I"ve ever been to.
And yep, I enjoyed the movie as well.
Great music

Sweet, thanks. I'll have to check it out and see what it's about. Is it like the Masters of Horror series? Or something completely different? Haha.

It's kind of like Masters of Horror, in that each episode is it's own story.
It's not gory/bloody, and not really scary as well, but I"ve only seen two episodes

One episode had a couple get lost on a road trip, and they ended up at a Rock and Roll camp, populated by dead rock stars. Here's a clip:

The other episode I saw, The End of the Whole Mess, was about a guy researching violence, who thought he had come up with a cure, but, ended up having a different result.

I love the movie!
And I saw the musical in London...it was just GREAT!! Really breathtaking!

Did you know Andrew Lloyd Webber is planning on writing a sequel to The Phantom Of The Opera?
