Okay so. I saw a trailer for this when I took my nephew to see Horton Hears a Who. And I had just two questions:

1) Why do they need to advertise a full year and a half before it comes out?

and

2) Isn't the timeline a little off given that dinosaurs existed before mammoths and sabertooth tigers and whatever that squirrel thing is and mammals in general?

They always promote animated movies months and months before it comes out...they've been promoting WALL*E and Kung Fu Panda here in australia for like 8 months now.

I'm not a fan of these movies so much too, but i did love the first Ice Age movie.

I absolutely LOVED the 1st one, its really great but now they're making a third one? the second one wasn't that good..it actually sucked. They're gonna turn it into another sherk

the trailer looks great, I love that little animal, I forgot his name
but how is it "ice age" there's no more 'ice' in it

oh yeah and its the teaser trailer, they usually come out a long time before the movie

8 months is a lot different than 18 months.

But now that I think about it I think I saw a Wall-E trailer last summer... possibly when I saw Transformers.
