Once - an irish movie

i searched and there's no thread about it yet so i start a new one.




it's not a big prodution movie so i think there may be few people who have watched it before. i just watched it couple hours ago and i really liked it. it's nothing like hollywood ones. no scenic background, no superstar like leading roles, no enviable life or anything. it's just so down to earth but still so beautiful. it brings harmony and peace to my heart.

for those who like peaceful movies, those who like romantic movies, and those who like musical movie, it's a good one, no doubt

I haven't seen it yet but I'd like to. Markéta is nice and very talented, when she won an Oscar it was in every magazine. She's very popular in Czech Republic now

I bought it because I saw it for 2/$25 and I really wanted to see it.

I am kind of in love with it and bought the soundtrack the next day. It's so good, and so sweet.

And it's awesome that they won best original song since it's such a small movie and never had 'big buzz' around it, and it beat out three freaking DISNEY songs. There was a time when Disney pretty much was guaranteed best song if they were nominated (back when they had huge superstars doing their soundtracks, like Elton John and Phil Collins). But let's face it, those songs from Enchanted kind of sucked and I don't even remember what the 5th nominee was.

So yeah, basically I love Once.
