My band appeared on tv, i covered sk8er boi and talked about bandaids! So cool!

Yeah! My band just appeared on tv and we kicked ass! I don't have pics or audio to post (yet), cause the interview will only air again on may 30, but damn, I had to tell this to you guys. The tv station owner saw my band's interview and he thought it was so cool and funny that now he wants me and my friends to make a teen music program that will air every friday! That's so awesome! My band is getting famous! lol. Now I'm one step closer to my dreams:
01 - Open Avril's show if she ever comes to Brazil.
02 - Get rich, leave Brazil and move to Canada, my fav. country!
lol.
Anyways, let me tell you guys how my first show/interview was: First we were interviewed for about 30 minutes. It was so cool cause I talked about avrilbandaids.com! After that we finally had the chance to play our songs: First we played "Homem-Salada". (It means: Salad Man) It kinda sucked cause we were very nervous. But the song's lyrics are really funny, and everybody loved it. Then we got more confident and played our 2nd song: "Dançarino De Guarita". This is probably my band's best song. The lyrics are so funny that we almost had to stop playing the song in the middle cause we started to laugh out really loud. Anyway, after that we did a cover version of Avril's Sk8er Boi! It was awesome cause we did an acoustic version of the song. My best pal (Our main guitarist) played the power chords and I played the riffs. Of course we also laughed a lot on this song when I sang: "He's just a boy... And I'm just a girl...". But I think the cover sounded cool. I can't wait to show it to you guys and hear what you think. Oh well, I'll record it next week on my pc microphone, so probably the mp3 quality won't be that good, but I'll do my best to get it in good quality. Well, that's all. Probably I'll post some pics and mp3z in June. Oh, and sorry for the long text!

Yup, that's me. Unfortunately I weren't able to dress like avril cause I couldn't find a wig that looked like avril's hair. (I only found one that looked a lil bit like avril's hair, and it would cost me $20 to buy it!!!) That sucked, cause I really wanted to dress like Avril. It would be so funny...

Nope, it wasn't national tv. It aired on my napanee-equivalent-small-town: Teresópolis, but I'll send a vhs copy of the video to MTV, (Cause here they have a program that shows some new bands.) and to my country's big tv stations so they can give us a chance if they like us. And we'll also send our work to EMI and BMG records, cause we need to release our album!
