why canadians speak 2 languages

haha..here in belgium there are three official languages....dutch,french,and german...and belgium is smaller than switzerland...and at home i speak english so...yeah...that's 4 too...

here in england we only have one official language....uhhh...english!...haha!

wtf are you talking about....that was in like the 1900's...they let French be an official language ages ago...and then there was like the Durnham Report and shit and the idea of seperating from the rest of Canada came around like 200 years ago lol.

dude Canada didnt become officially bilingual until Pierre Trudeau introduced the Languages Act or something to that effect... The Durham report was an attempt to assimilate all French-Canadian culture and to establish and entirely English North America

Thats taken directly from the Durham report if I'm remembering it correctly, there might be a couple words off here and there, and it says nothing about trying to establish a bilingual state
