Lil question about Metallica
Do you know where Lars Ulrich the drummer in Metallica is from?
Because that name sounds like he is from Scandinavia but he speaks such good english.

He was born in Gentofte, Denmark and moved to the US around the age of 15.

Also, the general opinion is that Lars is an ass-monkey.
Napster is dead. Long live Kazza (Lite).

Dude, I don't know... I think Lars rules... he earned my respect when i saw the metallica mtv icon show... he was all excited with avril's performance... he even played "air drums"!... lol. He looks like a nice guy, and he's my favourite metallica member.
By the way, i have a question too. In the metallica icon show, what songs did sum 41 perform? I know it was a medley, but which songs did they perform?

he is a money loving bastard. he also enjoys pretending to have butt sex with other men far too often, but apart from that he's cool.
the sums played: for whom the bell tolls, enter sandman and master of puppets. they did pretty good but brownsounds stuffed the solo up quite a bit.

Thanx for the info, splidgem. Yeah, the sums were good, but i fell like they didn't get all the attention they deserved, cos when they performed metallica was entering the show and everybody was paying attetion to they and like leaved sum 41 behind... poor boys, they were rockin hard... But Sum 41 and Avril were the best ones performing.... Go Canada!

Limp Bizkit were the best, they really made their own version of 'welcome home'.

Nope, (Welcome Home) Sanitarium is the correct "spelling" of the song
But anyway, Metallica sued Napster cos they want to have control of their music, and they didn't have when napster spread it out on the internet. They encourage us fans to download, burn and share bootlegs. When James got torched by the pyrotechnics in Montreal they came back there and played for free! And because of Metallica wanting to have control of everything, they also dont loan money from the record companies, so therefore, thay had to pay extra salary for all their staff, gas for the 15 BIG trailers and rent for the stadium. Would they do this if they were money loving bastars? No fucking way. And if they were money loving bastards, why don't they sue kazaa, Direct Connect and Morpheus then? Because napster spread the the music, in the new filesharig programs, its the users that share the music.
They did the same thing when James was at the hospital in Atlanta 2000, they came back and played for free.
