I REALLY WANT TO HAVE ADOPT A N00B!
It's where everyone who wants to adopts a n00b, pretty much. It's there job to answer any of the n00bs questions, and teach them the ways of the forum, and basically stop them from doing something completely idiotic. They can raise their n0b from their first post, and watch as they grow up to be happy, active, posters. Okay, so that last part sounded majorly cheesy, but you get the basic idea. MY N00BS GET PIZZA, BROWNIES, AND WHATEVER OTHER FOOD THEY LIKE. Yeah, Just a thought. It makes me happy. All warm and fuzzy inside. You know, like a puppy would make you feel.

That is a fantasic idea... what if your noob doesnt stick withyou and decides he or she doesnt want to be with your or stay on bandaids anymore? but that is a really really good idea. I love the idea.

Well, hopefully, your n00b won't do that. I had a n00b on a different forum, and she completely abandoned me, but that's there choice. It doesn't usually happen. I think i'm going to make a thread for it, and see what people think.

ADOPT A N00B
I posted this in the n00bs thread and the two people who responded loved it, but i think it'll get more attention here anyways.
This is basically exactly what it sounds like. We are going to "adopt" n00bs. N00bs who want to be adopted will request that here. Then people with a high post count will claim their n00b, and it's there job to teach them about the forum. They'll basicaly answer all of their repetitive questions, and just get to know them. All of the talking should be done through private massaging, which i will explain later. Parents: It is your job to encourage your n00b to post! I know we have a lot of lurkers around here. I don't why they don't post. Maybe they're afraid or something. But, as a parent, teach your n00b that it's okay to post! If we can get people to start posting, it might increase the ammount of money the forum is making. I know money has been a concern for a while, and if we do get money, some of the pop-ups may go away, and we may be able to improve the forum (even though it doesn't need improving). Get to know your n00b. Ask them how old they are, where they live, what other music they like besides Avril, etc. Knowing their name is a must. And please, parents, don't abandon your n00bs, and n00bs, don't abandon your parents. Keep talking and keep communicating, even when (if) your n00b becomes an active poster. It'd be good if people could make friends while they're helping their n00bs. I know i haven't covered a lot, and their will be some questions, so before the adopting begins, ask your questions/share your opinions on the idea first. Oh and mods, if, for some reason, this is a completely aweful idea that can't be done on the forunm, feel free to close this. So, what do you guys think?
