How do u make a blend. I don't get it.

Hi peeps, okay I know this has been asked millions of times b4 but How do u make a blend? I have got Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8 but I don't know how 2 make a blend using it. I have read other threads about this but they don't make sense 2 me. So can sum1 please just tell me step by step how 2 make a blend.

First choose the size, then pick some pictures and of course background. After it all use some effects.

Yeh but how do u choose a background? And wen i put images on2 it they r all 2 big & i duno how 2 make them smaller!

Well you've got so many options in this program, so you may try everything to find out what's going to came out later. I make my blends in other program so I guess I can't help you more, but wait a few minutes and I'll try to make some in psp.
Bacgrounds you need to find somewhere in the programm or use as a pic or just fill the whole space with some color.

okay i have got a background & now i am tryin 2 put images of avril on top. but they r 2 small i want 2 make them bigger how do i do that?

Ok, I found out how to fill the space with the background
Ok, so you ahve some options on the left and there is also one thing, above the "A" letter and is called Flood Fill, so. and then on the right you have some other options related to background. You can just if it's should be texture or paint.

I don't know, yet. But if they are too small then they won't look good as bigger ones.

Yep my first blend wasn't actually the worst or something but it was so exciting to make it Hehe, now I can make better ones and enjoy what I've learned since then.

I've made like 4 or 5 blends in my lifetime. The first few sucked. The one in my sig is my most recent, made last night... and I got really lazy so I only used one pic and set it as the background, then put the band's logo over top but sort of transparent, and scrawled some lyrics across it.

I have PSP7 and that's what I use. I just play around with shit until something looks half decent. And yeah, if you try to enlarge pictures (Image > Resize), it'll look like crap... it'll get really pixelated if you go too big.

i have psp9 now. I am on free trial. In my siggy there is a blend, not an banner, but a BLEND! get it through ur head people...and someone asked me what it was...lol. Okay, first of all, I started making blends a couple months ago. I sort of got the idea from Johanna from twobeats, well from her blends. My first few blends turned out okay, and then I found out the "Gaussian Blur" effect, which I use all the time for my blends now. Me too. Actually the last one I did, which, personally, I really like, I did a group shot of the band as a background, then three live shots layered over top, and some song lyrics.

And right now my favourite effect is to copy the whole image once you're done blending and everything, paste as new image, then add some killer blur effects to that, and paste it as a new layer over the old one and play around with the transparency. It looks really cool.

But I didn't do that on the one I have as my sig, cause I was too lazy.
