This may be a stupid question, but... when you watch shows in Belgium and stuff, are they dubbed? You don't get them in English, right?

I tried to watch Degrassi on the French station and it bothered me, but that's probably because I'm not fluent enough in it (I can read it, but if you talk to me in French I'm lost) and I know what their voices REALLY sound like, and some of the characters sounded like they were being dubbed by people in their 30s.

the flemish/dutch tv stations put subtitels under it sept for the little kid shows those are dubbed

i hate it when shows are dubbed. it sounds so fake like when singers lipsing. (shudders) it bothers me. i was scanning the channels, and then lizzie mcguire came up (i used to watch it, i stopped when the movie was released) and it was in french. their lips didn't match what they were saying. it's such a stupid idea.
