SECOND TEST, Headingley (day four):
South Africa 522 & 9-0 beat England 203 & 327 by 10 wickets

Anderson bravely continued his innings after two nasty moments

South Africa beat England by 10 wickets on the fourth day to take a 1-0 lead into the final two Tests of the series.
Resuming on 50-2, Alastair Cook batted well for 60, but Kevin Pietersen and Ian Bell fell cheaply as Dale Steyn and Morne Morkel made England suffer.
Stuart Broad, who hit a superb unbeaten 67, and Darren Pattinson shared 61 for the last wicket to help England reach 327 and just avoid an innings defeat.
But the tourists needed seven balls to hit the nine runs needed to win.
It completed a miserable six days for England in the series. They were unable to close out a win at Lord's and were then totally outplayed at Headingley.

A deceiving word 'friendly' when a a player and the manager are sent off haha. Least we won 3-1 against Sporting Lisbon.

The manager one won't matter too much. Players can end up suspended if the report is filed by the official.

Essien signs new Chelsea contract

Michael Essien has committed his long-term future to Chelsea

Chelsea's Michael Essien has signed a new five-year deal - following keeper Petr Cech and defender Wayne Bridge in committing his future to the club.
The Ghana midfielder, 25, has been a major success since joining Chelsea from Lyon for £24m in 2005.
He said: "I am very happy here. We have a great team and fantastic fans who have always made me welcome.
"With the addition of the new manager Luiz Felipe Scolari, I am feeling very positive about the season ahead." Scolari stated: "I have not been here long but it is clear to me that Michael Essien is one of the best midfield players in the world. "I have always admired him and it is good news for me and for Chelsea that he signs for so long."
