My favourite book is The Order of the Phoenix. Bite me. | I see your point, but the way she desribes it both times just doesn't seem to fit with it. The Avada Kedarva curse is instant ... these didn't seem to be ... they seemed to be aware. She always made it clear when that curse was being used ya'know, always described it - flash of green light etc etc ... why not those times? I dunno maybe it is and she just wanted to write about it differently for them ... |

Hmm, maybe the killing curse had a different "effect" on Bellatrix because the one who used it was with the good guys. :P

Or was he just unconcious or whatever and sort of imagined it? 'cause it appears Voldemort has a similar thing doesn't it ... he rouses when Harry does? thoughts? |

With the Sirius/Bellatrix curse thing I think it is a different cursefrom the killing curse. One that would do damage to you, but if directed properly it would kill you. For example maybe it paralyzes which body part is hit, then if you aim for the heart it'd stop beating.

And yeh ... I didn't get what the kid was all about ... that supposed to represent Voldemort or something to do with his soul? Dumbledore didn't explain ... just said nothing can be done for it? lol |
