Hey there. I'm just using this account to talk about something. I've known this for about 3 years, but I'm just not able to tell anyone. I'm gay. And I'm 600% sure. I'm using this account for a reason, so if people could not keep trying to guess who it is, it would be appreciated. I don't know why I can't seem to get the courage to say it. I just don't want to get the stigma attatched to it. I don't mind being this way. I don't act gay, at least I don't think. But I know I'll still get treated like hell. People in my highschool would beat me up, and so would people in my town. They're all so homophobic. And if that's not enough, my whole family is so old fashioned. They'd laugh, talk behind my back like I have a disease, and generally see me as a lower individual. I just want to be able to be who I am. I don't want to be seen as the "gay guy" and nothing else. I'm more than that! I've known for so long, that I'm just sick of keeping it to myself. But then I think that I have to keep it to myself, so that I don't change what people think of me. But I know if I tell people it can't be the exxact same. I think that's the reason I don't want people to know. But I think I'm old enough that I should be able to tell people. As I said, I'm so sure. I just find guys attractive, mostly men in their 30s. I'm just a teenager. I just don't find girls attractive. I can't help it. I find men so HOT.

But anyway, could anyone help me? What should I do? It's not as simple as "tell them, they'll accept you, and if they dont, fuck them". I'm genuinely scared to tell.

awwwh oh my god, i feel sorry for you.

But like, you really should tell them, i know your scared and all, but you cant keep it a secret forever. You will feel much better getting it off your chest, even if people dont accept it, cos you'll finally be who you really are.

Don't tell them. i know some gay friends, that regret coming out. Yeah, the people these days it's too much homophobic, wait 10 years.

I hate to say this, but I wouldn't come out right now. I wish people could be more accpeting, but they aren't. I have friends who are gay and they didn't come out until college because of the nevironment in our school and small town.

How old are you? How many more years off high school do you have left?

Well I'm just finished highschool now actually.

If I wait 10 years, won't that just make it even tougher to finally tell? And how will I ever be able to meet anyone if nobody knows I'm gay. I just don't know

Oh, come out when you leave your parent's house. If they are really against it, at least you won't have to live with them.

Whatever you do, DON'T wait ten years. That will just make things worse.
