I've been with my boyfriend for over a year and a half now, i love him and all that jazz but all my friends get to go out all the time, get drunk and have the most randomest nights out, i kind've want to be part of that while i'm still young, but ya kno, kind've have him dragging me back from it all.

I really don't know what to do, I don't want to lose him, which i know i will if I break up with him, but i dont want to miss out on all the fun my friends are having.

Honestly, the answer is quite simple. You don't have to get drunk to have fun just b/c that's what your friends do! I go out with my friends all the time, and even though I'm usually the only one not drunk, I have just as much fun as they do and can be known to do even MORE random stuff than they do, even though they're the ones drunk, not me! You just have to know how to have a fun time!
Plus I always remember what happened the previous night, while they, well.... lets just say they generally don't.

When I get drunk, I always remember the previous night. Drinking is not bad, just have control. I used to never have control, but now I do, I stop when I feel I have had a sensible amount, which usually means not puking and can find your way home
