Um, you guys, the purpose of this thread wasn't JUST to use the secret account. That was just there, as an option. It wasn't mandatory. And, while I agree that this thread has lost it's original purpose, I don't think coming in here and critisizing people is going to get it back on track. Each person has a different story, therefore giving them a different reason to do things like cutting. Getting help is NOT as easy as you're making it sound. I mean, I agree that it seems to have become a fad, but that does not mean that you have to stereotype everyone as a trend follower. It's not fair.

Besides, arguing is NOT going to fix anything.

It wasn't up for discussion, we were saying what we think. Last time we let this kind of stuff be discussed, it turned into something really bad. And when I say really bad, I mean really bad.

Just keep the "___" stuff in the don't let me get me thread and the other stuff in here.

As staff members, we don't fight. It's funny to even think about that.

Oh, Adam, come on. It's not all like that. Some people can't help it. Show a little sympathy for those who are actually genuine about it.

I don't want to argue with you anyways. I don't like arguing with people I like.

I don't show sympathy because there's bigger problems. Okay, it sucks for them, but they can get past it. There's people without homes in Africa, and people with homes in America are cutting their wrists and washing it off in their sinks and then having dinner and sleeping in their own bed after. Kids in Africa have bigger problems, and they couldn't be happier about it. I think people need to learn how to get help.

Plus, I think it's a sin for people to hurt themselves. It's just not right. People can get help, even within themselves.

And no, I don't fight with people. People just have problems with my "tough love". I enforce the rules that the Administrators want, and people mistake my bluntness for fighting.

Ok here's my rant on this

A lot of members here DO come on for pity and over exaggerate stories about shit that doesn't even happen, and look for pity off people on this site. I have a feeling some members here are pulling the wool over our eyes.

Not only that but this thread was better when it first started cause now, like Steph said, it is another "Don't let me get me" thread. I think the secrets shouldn't go into serious problems because that is what the "Don't let me get me" thread is for.

Some people also post their problems in the "Don't Let Me get me" thread and then come here and post them here.Talk about "LOOK AT ME I EXIST" kind of attitude! Who are we to give advice on that stuff anyways? We are not councellors! For all we know we could be making it all worse.

I do agree with Amy's thread though if it is used right, because I think it is a great idea

EDIT: lets not fight about this please, people think different about many things

Some people come here because they need help but don't see an other way to ask for help. The fact that there is a place to talk for them helps alot in the first place.


Secret": I find it sad that people spent time on just ''fight'' about this. While I feel I am the only one that has noticed that one of our member isn't on bandaids anymore. And in the ''don't let me get me...thread'' she said something that makes me worry alot. If you don't know who I am talking about, its about Claudia. Does anyone know were she is?
