If she's treating him like this now, chances are she won't get better.
I just think he deseres someone who will let him hang out with his friends. If he likes her, he should give her a chance. But if things don't improve, it's not worth it.

You don't know how SHE is feeling though. Remember they have been friends. She might feel confused and frustrated that she is falling for him. Dumping her and running away from the situation is childish. He needs to explore the situation in full detail, make sure he is keeping his self-respect WHILE letting her know how he feels, and then be sympathetic towards how she feels too. If she doesn't feel the same way and keeps treating you like shit, THEN you need to get rid of her.

Even if she does feel the same way, it should show in the way she treats him. If she doesn't show it, I don't think the relationship is worth it.
