do you guys reckon we'll get a vip area at the front of the stage like canada has???.. i don't think the rds bastards are gonna give us one ha

The RDS is like any venue, they will do as little as possible in order to make the most profit. But they do have to abide by certain requests by the artists, or they’d loose the contract for the night.
Only certain events have VIP access, therefore I’d imagine that these are the venues who have the space and the willingness to provide that extra service.
IMHO the tickets will arrive with instructions for us to arrive at a certain time, at a certain gate, thus avoiding the main crowds. We’ll be brought into one of the many buildings that surround the venue, do the meet and great and then be led to the concert stage. Hopefully they will have a small section prepared for us just in front.

^^ That sounds good. I hope that's how it is! As long as I get a pic with Av and a good oul show, I'll be happy!
Ditto for Belfast the following day (minus the meet 'n' greet stuffs)

Most likely train for me... my itinerary is as follows (in a nutshell):
train from Portadown to Dublin,
check in to my hotel (probably Jurys Inn Custom House... oooh la-la!),
get myself set,
head over to the RDS (probably by bus or on foot... it's not that far),
die of excitement at the prospect of meeting Av (again),
resuscitate,
be cool as a cucumber before during and after said meeting,
enjoy the show,
get something to eat (probably won't eat all day!),
back to the hotel,
sleep,
wake,
head to the train station,
train to Belfart,
same again (bar the meeting thang)
Hurrah!

Sounds like a good plan! Mine is prob more or less the same unless I actually die of excitiment after meeting her! then someone else can have my ticket for belfast I think the first trian to Belfast is around 9am so itll be 12 by the time it gets to belfast. I think the Odessy is close to the train station though!

Ah yeah, it's piss. From the Europa station, it's about 15-20 minute walk...
I think the train from Dublin, Connolly goes to the Victoria (name correct...!?) station. It's a similar distance. Closer, I think...

which sucks cos the first train doesnt leave till 9???... im usually there my nine argh =[
