HELP ME - MY OBESSIONS GOING AWAY [bangs on wall]
HELP ME! - My Avril obsessions going away!

As I write this post, I am listening to Kanye West. Before that I lisened to Simple Plan. I don't listen to Avril much anymore.

School might be the reason. People at my school want me (and so do I) to be a gangsta. I own a hip-hop forum. I use the expression "chuck a corey" quite frequently.

PLEASE HELP ME BEFORE I GO MAD AND DELETE ALL MY AVRIL!

Why do you want to be a "gangsta" so much? If you're beginning to lose your obsession with Avril, its just a natural progression. You can't force yourself to like someone for the sake of it. Plus, you shouldn't feel like you "have" to. You wouldn't have made this thread if you still loved Avril of your own accord. People change, and tastes change. I suggest just rolling with it

Its only natural... Sometimes you grow out of things. I used to be obsessed with Blink 182 and then one day I noticed that I barely listen to them any more. It happens and it's ok.

If you don't want to stop liking Avril there's not really anything we here can do; you have to do it yourself. Just try to reaquaint yourself with her music, maybe watch some of her preformances or tv interviews.

Don't force yourself to like something just because you used to be "obsessed" with it.

Listen to what you think is right.
Growing out of certain genres or artists is normal, whatever you like listening to that makes you happy.
You can still be "gangsta" and listen to Avril. (I don't even know what gansta means, I just dislike anything rap affiliated most of the time.)

But as said, if you really are not into Avril anymore cause you just don't feel her music is you, it's cool; it's fine. Change is normal and healthy
