OH man they're recording a new album right now and I sooooo cannot wait.

I hope it comes out soon! But of course, not too soon, because beauty cannot be rushed.

I read the other day in the paper that a lot of people lie on their resumes. I’m not surprised. I say if you’re gonna lie, the resume is the best place to do it. I exaggerated a little on mine. How do you think I got this job? Hey, ambassador could mean many things. If you’re going to lie on a resume you may as well make it a doozie. Why mess around with small stuff? Tell them you were in the secret service. If they ask any questions, all you have to say is, “It’s a secret.” If they insist, just say, “I’ll tell you, but then I’ll have to kill you.”
Actually, the easiest thing to do is to just use someone else’s resume. Including their name. You’ll have to change the phone number so the person doing the hiring calls you, and not the person whose resume you swiped. Of course, make sure that the resume you steal doesn't belong to the person that’s hiring you. "Hey, we both have the same name." "What do you know? We both have the same career goals and special skills including synchronized swimming and stage combat." "Hey, this is my resume!"
I will never make that mistake again. Ellen Degeneres' thought of the day November 15 2007

Corrine, isn't the next album supposed to have, like, some Mexican sound or something? It doesn't sound promising to me, but let's hear for when it comes out :P.

I loved Parachutes. When Yellow came out, I was like, wow. Everything's Not Lost = beauty made into music

I love a lot of songs from the first two records - Yellow, Parachutes, Spies, Shiver, Everything's Not Lost, Warning Sign, The Scientist, In My Place. I pretty much don't listen to X&Y. In fact, I don't think I ever listened to the whole album from first to last track. Maybe once. Though I think Fix You is probably their best song to date.

Yeah! Some Hispanic flavah' in it... but not too much, just like a tinge of it. You probably will/won't notice it much. That's what they say.

And ahh, I think Parachutes is the best album ever made "Don't Panic" is SUCH a beautiful song. I genuinely love every single note in every single song. If that album was made into a good-looking male my age and I'd probably do him on the spot. LOL. But yeah... it's truly a beautiful record. I haven't been able to get my hands on Rush of Blood to the Head even though I've been looking for it at stores for YEARS. X&Y is a beautiful record as well, but it doesn't have the nakedness and personal vibe Parachutes does. But I'm only comparing it to one album so I dunno. And I still love it very much. Fix You is incredible beautiful.

I am so ready for new material. I have to say Chris Martin is one of the most handsome guys in the music industry. He has the full package.

Edit: I get asked alot and my avatar is a pic of a Coldplay concert during "Yellow" shot by a friend. I have yet to see them in concert!

^ I was wondering about the avatar, too .

It's pretty obvious I've never seen them live .

Yeah, I hope there's not much Hispanic tunes :P. Not sure if I'd like it.

I'm sure it'll be interesting. We're known for our love for guitars (brought by the Spaniards), so I guess there'd be some acoustic guitars up in there. They say they've been recording in churches. Lol, it'll be very interesting indeed.

But I'm not exactly sure what they mean by the Mexican vibe. lol. I hope it's not "banda" or "duranguense"
