^ If you didn't like Coldplay before, you will most likely love this one. If you've followed them since day one/two, you may or may not like this one, depending on what you've been expecting. The album's not as relatable as their previous works, but I still like it (maybe even more than the older ones) because of their experimenting with sounds (they recorded in church/es, for God's sake - That Thing You Do! inspired?) and the now-boring-falsetto hiatus (even though Martin still does some). The album's definitely got a U2 vibe going (Brian Eno produced it), and it's not a bad thing. Violet Hill could be the weakest song, in my opinion.

Thank you so much for the audios from Brixton ! The quality is AWESOME !!

I saw them yesterday for a private show for the french TV. It will be broadcast next week here. I had won a contest for that and I was so happy because it's the first time that I win something by myself !
It was quite short but amazing, I was at the front row and there were no barriers. I was so clooose to them it was perfect.
They did in the order: Violet Hill, Clocks, Viva La Vida, 42, Fix You and Lover In Japan.
I was so moved because I've been waiting for 3 years for this moment. I saw them in 2005 and it totally changed my life. Yesterday they were really good, nice and talkative. Chris Martin spoke a lot in french which was so cute and they were very cool with us. The crowd was great !
Viva La Vida was the best part of the private show for me because this song is just very brilliant, I couldn't help myself crying, like during Fix You which is a very beautiful song.
They leave the scene by crossing the crowd and they did it just close to me so I could touch them.
Unfornutately we couldn't take pictures/video but as it will be broadcast soon we'll have a memorie of it. I hope I won't see myself a lot because the camera were just in front of me, filming me crying, jumping and getting crazy

I'll post the links of the TV show when It will be broadcast.

^ That's so awesome! You're soo lucky! Thanks for sharing that with us.

I really like the new CD. I can't get it out of my head, the sounds are brilliant and the lyrics are a bit harder to interpret, but they're still amazing. It's a new Coldplay, but it's still Coldplay. And I love it

This album has really grown on me big time. I personally think the weakest tracks are Yes, Viva La vida and Violet Hill..the latter two maybe because ive heard them tonnes on TV etc. '42' is brilliant, beautiful opening, upbeat middle section...catchy guitars leading into a beautiful outro...also 'Strawberry Swing'..perfect pop song.

Yeah I love the new CD. The only problem is that it won't load on to my iTunes. My iTunes can be a bitch sometime.

I just love it. Yesterday I listened to all my Coldplay CD's and it was heaven.
